The Jimmy Page one f***ing disgusted me. Chuck Norris would have fit into this list. A vile, ignorant, bigot in real life. Still glorified in internet memes. Actually, you're likely to be laughed off the internet for posting a Chuck Norris meme these days. They came to a screeching halt once it was revealed that he's a huge twat. It's the lesser known Liam Neeson meme, now.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Mike Tyson yet or am I missing something?
Also, Ted Kennedy but I don't think he counts as a celebrity.

For every person that loves him they'll be another who brings up the rape incident. Plus, he's never living the Hollyfield incident down.

To be fair, most of the forum probably doesn't think Lawler is a pedophile. It's joked about, but just that, joked. We don't like him because he's terrible at his job. I BELIEVE that his accuser recanted her story.

Caused two deaths by dangerous driving and basically got off scot-free. The article says, "Beloved" Broderick was beloved for years. Before and after he killed two people while drunk driving. I think it happened in Ireland or Scotland.

The family has specifically said that they forgive Broderick, for whatever that is worth, and I don't believe alcohol was ever stated to be involved, nor was it ruled out, just that he has no recollection of why he was in the wrong lane.

No mention of former New England Patriots Running Back and ESPN Commentator Craig James killing 5 hookers while at SMU?

Michael Vick? Chris Brown? Still known for their awfulness, but not hated by as many anymore.... He's been forgiven? I missed that memo. You might be able to do this sort of article with pro wrestlers You'd run out of people. Bret Hart cheats on his wife and admits it in his book= People are okay with this because Bret wrestles well Chris Benoit commits a double murder suicide= Some people still fans of his because he wrestled well CM Punk calls man a bunch of names related to his sexuality= People accept Punk bashing gays. Dynamite Kid bullies wrestlers backstage and threatens to shoot wife= People are okay with this Jerry Lawler allegedly has sex with a minor= People are generally okay with Jerry and still support him But if Triple H beats Brock Lesnar he is worse than Hitler, Osama Bin Laden and Satan combined. You forgot Shawn Michaels and Jimmy Snuka.

Stone Cold gets a massive pass from people for beating the crap out of his wife who at 5'5 and 129 pounds was clearly no match for the 6'2 250 pound Austin. The same people who are (rightfully) calling out Chris Brown for being a heinous woman-beating douche, are hanging by Austin's every word and couldn't worship the guy more if they tried. The hypocrisy of it makes me ill.

Owen Hart
Nice guy he may have been, but his piledriver on Austin was so reckless and dangerous, for a wrestler of his experience

Expect CM Punk apologized for it. You know what Punk doesn't apologize for? Being a womanizer. Or bashing people for their religious beliefs. Both seem to have made him more popular with a lot of his fans.

Speaking of Austin, much as I love the guy...he's definitely a candidate for this list.

Yeah, you figure him RAPING AND KILLING A GIRL IN 1990 would afford him a place on his list... Wait what? So what I learned from this thread if you are famous with money and have some talent you can get away with anything He's kidding At least I think...

You might be able to do this sort of article with pro wrestlers Call me a cynic, but I'm sure that many athletes rampantly cheat on their wives. Not all admit to it like Bret did, and I respect him for that. Even though the way he justified it (basically "atleast I was only addicted to women, not drugs or alcohol") was a bit troubling. And atleast he didn't beat the shit out of his wife like Stone Cold Steve Austin did. Bret admits he is capable of crappy behavior in his marriage. That doesn't make him a hypocrite, that makes him human.

Dynamite Kid bullies wrestlers backstage and threatens to shoot wife= People are okay with this Jerry Lawler allegedly has sex with a minor= People are generally okay with Jerry and still support him The only one i'll give you is Dynamite Kid. F*** this guy. For the rest them... About Bret: first, I really don't think cheating is an unforgivable offence. It's bad, sure, but it's not like it's actually causing any long time damage on anybody. Second, admitting to having made mistakes does not make you a bad person. If anything, it shows you're making efforts to become a better person. About CM Punk: considering he pronounced himself in favour of gay marriage and told a Twitter follower to kill himself (for which he later apologized and told the guy to better himself) for writing that homosexuality makes him sick, I highly doubt he's homophobic. About Jerry Lawler: the girl admitted to have made up the entire story. If you want to give people shit, at least make sure it's worth giving people shit over and they actually did the stuff you're giving them shit for instead of defaming them. Few things piss me off more than false accusations.

In terms of "terrible things" that some people are listing, I think when there isn't intent, we can't exactly say that we're forgiving someone for being a piece of shit. Granted, I hated Matthew Broderick and indeed he probably should have been held accountable for the deaths of two people, but there wasn't any intent there, just unfortunate circumstances. The same thing I would say about Owen Hart, he didn't exactly laugh about it afterwards.
