Bret Hart cheats on his wife and admits it in his book= People are okay with this because Bret wrestles well Chris Benoit commits a double murder suicide= Some people still fans of his because he wrestled well CM Punk calls man a bunch of names related to his sexuality= People accept Punk bashing gays. Dynamite Kid bullies wrestlers backstage and threatens to shoot wife= People are okay with this Jerry Lawler allegedly has sex with a minor= People are generally okay with Jerry and still support him The only one i'll give you is Dynamite Kid. F*** this guy. For the rest them... About Bret: first, I really don't think cheating is an unforgivable offence. It's bad, sure, but it's not like it's actually causing any long time damage on anybody. Second, admitting to having made mistakes does not make you a bad person. If anything, it shows you're making efforts to become a better person. About CM Punk: considering he pronounced himself in favour of gay marriage and told a Twitter follower to kill himself (for which he later apologized and told the guy to better himself) for writing that homosexuality makes him sick, I highly doubt he's homophobic. About Jerry Lawler: the girl admitted to have made up the entire story. If you want to give people shit, at least make sure it's worth giving people shit over and they actually did the stuff you're giving them shit for instead of defaming them. Few things piss me off more than false accusations. How doesn't cheating cause long term damage to someone? Maybe not physically or financially but mental health wise of course it's damaging. Especially if you've got kids and have had a long term relationship and someone completely destroys your trust. It's messed up. As for Punk, Everyone lynched Jay Briscoe (Including me) when he made a similar remark. I don't doubt he's pro homosexuality I think most people in today's society SHOULD be but it doesn't change the fact he tried to use homosexuality as an insult. Most people who are pro homosexuality wouldn't even let those words slip out of their mouths. There are a thousand examples of Punk being an ass anyway. What about him bragging about beating people up in his indy days during his ROH Shoot? What about him cheating on countless women? What about his stories of committing fraud in the work place? Punk is an ass but people forgive him because he's one of the better wrestlers out there today. I'll admit I'm mistaken about Lawler, I never knew that the girl took back her claim.

It has always amazed me that Eric Clapton's career was never ruined by his support for Enoch Powell.

Rebecca Gayheart for vehicular manslaughter.
John Landis for the death of Vic Morrow and two Vietnamese orphans on the set of the Twilight Zone.
Brian Kelly for allowing a Notre Dame student to film football practice from a scissor lift in conditions not suitable to be on a scissor lift. The lift blew over and killed the student. Even worse is that Kelly continued football practice while medics worked on the student.

You'd run out of people. I don't even know where to start with this post. I want to believe it's some sort of parody, but I just don't know. It's like the CM Punk Paradox evolved into some sort of Skynet type thing.

Stone Cold gets a massive pass from people for beating the crap out of his wife who at 5'5 and 129 pounds was clearly no match for the 6'2 250 pound Austin. The same people who are (rightfully) calling out Chris Brown for being a heinous woman-beating douche, are hanging by Austin's every word and couldn't worship the guy more if they tried. The hypocrisy of it makes me ill. In Steve's defense, Debra didn't have to catch that Thesz press...

John Landis for the death of Vic Morrow and two Vietnamese orphans on the set of the Twilight Zone. He really hasn't been forgiven for that and he still catches a lot of flak (rightly so) as he still refuses to take any responsibility whatsoever for what happened.

Johnny Cash once shot a man in Reno, and worst of all it was just to watch him die.

The same people who are (rightfully) calling out Chris Brown for being a heinous woman-beating douche, are hanging by Austin's every word and couldn't worship the guy more if they tried. The hypocrisy of it makes me ill. Stop, stop, stop. First of all, I thought Debra only had a black eye once? That doesn't make it right obviously, but there's a bit of a difference between lashing out once with a punch and 'beating the crap out of your wife'. Secondly, again there's a difference between Chris Brown and Steve Austin. Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna multiple times and those attacks sounded a lot more premeditated and cruel than what Austin did. Again, I'm not saying that absolves Austin of what he did but it's not as black and white as you're making it sound. As for 'hanging on Austin's every word and couldn't worship the guy more if they tried', that's just not true. Obviously you have your diehard Austin fans but I don't think anyone has ever claimed Austin was perfect or an upstanding role model. The guy is one of the greatest of all time, it'd be a lie to not acknowledge that despite some of the bad things Austin has done in his personal life. I'm not saying him being a great wrestler cancels out those things, but it'd be silly to never mention Austin being a good wrestler again because he hit his wife once. 'The hypocrisy of it makes me ill' Really, guy? That seems like a gross overreaction. Also, it helps that Steve Austin hasn't done anything wrong since then while Chris Brown acts like an arrogant douchebag on a daily basis.

Just not sure where "multiple times" is coming from.
