Disco is a part of one of my favourite matches of all times - only because it was one of the few I had on VHS growing up and I used to show everyone this match right alongside Mankind vs. The Rock at Royal Rumble '99.
This match was at Road Wild '98 with him & Alex Wright facing the Public Enemy.
In reality, this match was pretty trashy. I had never seen anything like the triple table elbow drop at the end though. Blew my mind.

Basically a modern Honkey Tonk Man. His wrestling career was what it ought to have been. So-so wrestler, good heat-getting gimmick.

While he was never my favorite wrestler by any means, I was always entertained by the guy no matter what he did.

You made highlights of a Hardbody Harrison match? I remember that crappy submission finisher he had. What was it suppose to do? Scare them before he falls down and locks in the figure four?

What was the WCW ppv intro where most of the stars were interviewed and all of them mentioned they want to beat up Disco Inferno?

I think Disco pretty much hit his ceiling but turning a job character into an entertaining weekly run for 5+ years and a run as TV Champion. It was a good career. I think it's a testiment to just how solid a worker he was. The guy was also MUCH more over than he had any right to be His 2nd TV title win vs Saturn was a really good little match. Did a great job of making Disco look a bit tougher. I honestly don't remember much of his actual in ring work, but I think it was the character/his dancing as the reason he was so over. I could be wrong, but I don't remember anyone mentioning him when talking about good/great workers. Not saying he was bad, just that nothing really stands out to me.

I liked the guy. The funniest bit was when he was trying to figure out how to do his own finisher and he took out some crib notes. I agree the gimmick could have gone stale really quick, but they kept tweaking it. Adding Alex, adding Tokyo Magnum. Good stuff, nothing different than what Zack Ryder did a couple of years ago. Best story I heard was when Disco was just starting out (PW Torch Talk) and before he wrestled in Georgia, he ran into Jake the Snake Roberts. Jake asked him what his gimmick was, he said "Well, I'm the Disco Inferno. I get in the ring and I dance." Jake loved it. "Man, that has heat with me already. I HATE disco!" Glenn has some good stories about when he started out.

My favorite Disco Inferno (technically a Disqo moment) was when he and the NWO beat down Goldberg, and he stayed in the ring to dance. Goldberg got up and speared the living bejeesus out of him.

Disco's issues with the standing figure four and trying to lose the weight to get a cruiserweight title match were hilarious.
That and the time he tapped out to Craig "Pitbull" Pittman before he slapped on the cross armbreaker cause Disco didn't want his hair to get messed up.
One of the funniest mid card comedy guys ever. I just wish we had gotten one Honky Tonk Man vs Disco Inferno match.
Also... disco fevah! disco fevah! disco fevah! yeah! yeah! yeah! yeah!
