Huh, neat. And, for such a short squash match, Savage actually gave more of that match to Dragon than I thought he would.

No idea is this actually happened or not, but I recall reading somewhere that on one episode of ECW, CW Anderson came out dressed like a can of soda, I guess as their way of mocking product placement, and got destroyed by somebody.
Did this actually happen?

Did this actually happen? I bet that segment got a pop, but it seems memory of it has fizzled.

It appears whomever caught the novelty flying disc Poffo threw in the crowd attempted to throw it back to him.

So, randomly I get to reading this weird old DDT Digest page about Lodi, and I come across the fact that on the internet, it was apparently assumed Raven's Flock were all gay, what with Raven being so obviously gay for real and all. They cite a PW Torch article explaining one by one how everyone in the Flock is clearly super gay for Raven, and claims the reason they feuded Benoit was "simply too straight."
I know there's probably not much to be gleaned by looking into old wrestling rumor web sites and shit, and maybe it doesn't belong here, but all of that, especially the last part, really made me go WTF pretty hard. I wasn't really around the Internet at that point what with being a child, but that can't possibly have really been a popular assumption, right?
edit: in this same page about Lodi I learned about a rumor Rey Mysterio allegedly dated Jennifer Anniston. So maybe there's a little bit to be gleaned from this old sites after all, cause that is interesting as heck to me.

I remember the Jennifer Anniston/Rey Mysterio rumours. It was back in 1996 I remember seeing it in the newspapers over here

Thank you for the insight. I knew he and Stevie kinda hated each other for a minute there in the late '90's, and Stevie's reasons were generally better than Raven's, but that's a real weird and childish way for Stevie to take his hostility. I could almost see his character doing that, but I didn't know the real guy was such a clueless putz, too.

To his credit, at least in one shoot I saw, Raven put the lion's share of the blame on himself. He was at his worst, drugs-wise, and was a colossal dick to him, treating him as just being in WCW to give him additional leverage, since most if not all of the top guys would establish a power base by allying themselves with others, like Hogan having Giant, etc.

They were supposed to be heroin addicts.
