Madusa beats up Taz and Sabu with a steel chair (At the end of the end of the match) www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGmvweSRyI4I had never seen this before but a story on The Taz Show brought it to my attention, it was at a show in Taylor, MI where the promoter did a runner after the show and didnt pay the talent, Taz said it was like something out of a movie with all of the guys driving over Taylor, MI hunting the guy down, turns out it was Madusa that found him and beat him up and the wrestlers eventually got paid. The video above was the show in question, was January 1994 so she was already working as Alundra Blayze. Strange to see Sabu and Taz sell so much for a woman. She also fights with Woman.

Hulk Hogan and Ricky Steamboat (Steamboat substituting for Andre apparently) vs. Randy Savage and The Honky Tonk Man - www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydDIVS1WDzI (Honky botching, Vince on commentary constantly mistaking Savage for Steamboat for some reason, ref being accidentally hit with a chair in the beginning, a VERY hot crowd. Crazy stuff here)

That is an interesting match for that time period. It would have been even cooler (albeit less quality) had Andre been Savages partner

Here's a WWF House Show from Houston, TX from 11/6/1987 with the unusual announce team of Bruce Pritchard doing play-by-play with Mike McGuirk and Pete Doherty as the analysts. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5f_HzkSRHm8After seeing much of this show. Bruce Pritchard is pretty generic as a play-by-play guy. Mike McGuirk doesn't add much as an analyst. Pete Doherty is hard to listen too. He sounds like Gilbert Gottfried trying to sound like a tough guy. Bobby Heenan filled in for Doherty for some matches. Him and Mike McGuirk on the same announce team is pretty entertaining. The ring announcer for this show was one of, if not the worst I've heard on a WWF show. He referred to Heenan as "Bobby The Heenan" at one point.

There is some "That Happened" gold on this WWF House Show from Houston on August 28th, 1987. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tcfd8YPiUVkSome of the matches include: -Tom Pritchard vs. "Maniac" Mark Lewin -Junkyard Dog and Tony Atlas managed by "The Big Cat" Ernie Ladd vs. Kamala and Sika -Tito Santana and Mil Mascaras managed by Jose Lothario vs. Demolition There was also a Terry Funk vs. Chavo Guerrero match on this card but it's missing from the video. "The Duke of Dorchester" Pete Doherty, Bruce Pritchard and Mike McGuirk were on commentary. Howard Finkel was the ring announcer for half of the show before being replaced by some goof who was about 99% less talented than "The Fink."

Which of the commentators is the one that sounds like an even more annoying version of Gilbert Gottfried.

I imagine that is what Gilbert Gottfried would sound like if he were to try to be a tough guy.

The Final Deletion. It wasn't some massive shared fever dream.

WWF in Japan in 1994 According to (God bless it forever) Thehistoryofwwe.com, this would be from May 1994. Not long after the Headshrinkers turned face and won the titles, which they have here. Also Martel, who was off TV just after WM10, was subbing for HBK on this tour and would be used on some more intl shows and a few house shows until July when he left the company for good. I'd imagine Fuji is wearing his old outfit here for cultural reasons - he was Japanese-American and born in Hawaii, so perhaps his garb of the time (which US audiences just bought, since he'd always been characterized as being a stereotypical Japanese villain) would've been offensive to actual Japanese crowds? If so, then I'd reckon Yokozuna (Samoan in reality) probably didn't have any elaborate Japanese-themed entrance or attire either, since he was also billed as being from Japan. I don't recall Bam Bam's bent Q-tip facepaint phase, but thank goodness these other things existed so it could be timeline'd correctly.

If this was really early '94 I'm kind of surprised Taz wasn't doing his Tazmaniac gimmick. Were the ECW tapings for the ECW Hardcore TV show that far behind? Here is an 18 year old Seth Rollins wrestling against Merek Brave who he later teamed with as the Black and the Brave and now run a wrestling school together. www.youtube.com/watch?v=27-UCbAAhaw

That 1994 WWF photo is amazing. I wonder what someone thinking kayfabe existed would think. Like, would they put their hatred to the side for a photograph?

I still can't get over the WWF champion being shoved behind the poster.

He changed for the Arena show where you saw him at Paul's announcement where he fired Sabu. Could just be a random run-in on behalf of Sullivan, whom he had teamed with in ECW around the time. (He was Tazmaniac...just in street clothes. Yes, a wild savage beast eats at Ribera Steakhouse.)
