Rikishi - or in this case, Junior Fatu - in TNA. Now who could forget the legendary promo where he buried "Rick Roode" while doing a really bad Rock impersonation?

Rikishi - or in this case, Junior Fatu - in TNA. "How do you sell a chokeslam?" "Bump like normal, but then do a kip up, but failing on purpose." "GLORIOUS!"

Early in his career, "Sweet" Stan Lane wrestled as "Nature Boy" Stanley Lane.

Found a random AJPW "Dream Series '82" match between Ricky Steamboat and Harley Race. Lou Thesz is referee.
Tell ya what, Harley does a nice flying head scissors in the match, plus a dropkick that would make Jerry Lawler think, "I can do that."

In addition to his many real referee gigs, Gene LeBell also played the referee in a kickboxing match in an episode of Baywatch.

Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Bret Hart and Ricky Steamboat in the same match. Pretty epic if it was available.
Hulk Hogan & Ricky Steamboat vs Randy Savage & Bret Hart in 1986 would have been pretty nice too.

I vaguely remember. I know they were sent to Memphis for seasoning, where they broke up and had a short feud. Razor turned in the gold, saying his real gold was hearing the cheers from the fans. (Awwwww!) Then Rick Brogner was released and Fake Diesel did something else. Can't remember what.

Found the match from 1985 Polynesian Pro Wrestling where Jerry Lawler (the heel, with his then-wife Paula) took on Uncle Elmer. In Jerry's book, Lawler said he set something up where Elmer was gonna give Paula the legdrop. "I won't touch her, neighbor."
Since it appears this was taken directly off of a video recording from the TV show, that was edited out. You see '80s girl Paula (big hair, spiked heels, ESPIRIT customized sweatshirt) jumping in to break up a pin with her shoe, ref calls for the DQ...then we return after an ad break to see Jerry hunched over his fallen wife. He carries her out as the announcer pleads for people to clear the way.
(How it happened according to the book: Elmer dropped Paula, hit her with the leg drop. There was a little force to it. Paula jumped up thinking her nose was broken. It wasn't. Her lip got swollen. It was so concerning, Ms. Maivia - Peter's widow, the Rock's grandmother, the promoter - herself ran in the check on her. This was a set-up by Jerry to get Paula to stop trying to "be like Lucy, wanting to be in Ricky's show.)

Jerry Jarrett tried to sign Mr. T in late 83 to appear in Memphis to put over his "A-Team" tag team. T's asking price was way too high.
T ended up going to Verne Gagne and proposing an angle similar to what ended up happening leading up to Mania 1. Considering T was from Chicago and the AWA was hot there, I can see where T was coming from.

Some indy fed just booked Saraya Knight (Paige's mother) vs Eddie Kingston. Feels like that will probably get mentioned in here in a few years, throwing it in early.
