Jerry Lynn wrestled for the AWA.
Once in 1989 jobbing to The Russian Brute at the Majo Civic Center.
Then in two matches against JB Trask at the Treasure Island Casino. The odd thing about these matches is they took place in 1994 and 1995, respectively, long after the AWA stopped running as a regular promotion. However, I've researched these shows for a while now and from what I can gather is they were paid shows held by the Casino. Since the Gagnes could only benefit financially from them and still owned the AWA name they just tacked that name on to the shows. These were not shows run by the infamous Dale Gagner and his fake AWA.
Lynn defeated Trask in the first match and the second went to a time limit draw. So not only did Lynn wrestle for the AWA, but technically he wrestled enough to wn, lose, and draw in a match in three different years with an AWA career spanning six years. Even though in 1991 the company essentially went out of business.

Those Unreleased videos didnt last long on Youtube Yeah, I know. I deleted the posts. The same user had also posted a video of tryout matches from Crush and The Toxic Turtles. Crush was getting cheers from the crowd, while the Toxic Turtles were getting reaction worse than a Conway Pop.

With how much they toned down the Steiners who were big name signings, I can see them thinking Tazz throwing people around wouldn't fit in.

The Top Ten JR ran down before the match just kills me. You've got nine of the most legendary wrestlers of all time (ok, eight and Bill Irwin), and who's the number one contender? Savannah Jack. Who the fudge is Savannah Jack?

Who the fudge is Savannah Jack? I think it was by virtue of him being the TV champion, he was a fairly decent face in the later days of the UWF/Mid-South region.

El Gigante vs. Nailz in Japan and yes it's as bad as you think an El Gigante vs. Nailz match would be.

Mr. Perfect (as Curt Hennig) defends the AWA World Title in Japan vs Misawa (as Tiger Mask II) in 1988.
And Ricky Steamboat defends the NWA World Title in Japan vs Misawa in 1989.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcus_DupreeDupree left college after his sophomore year to play in the USFL. He suffered a serious injury before he even reached 21 and was out of football for several years. Walter Payton convinced him to get in shape for a comeback and Dupree dropped 100 pounds. He ended up making a brief run with the Rams and a few years later wrestled for the USWA(!)
