It's well documented that the Kliq essentially screwed Dean Douglas, more popularly known as Shane Douglas, out of the IC title. Yet, the first time someone stood in the way of Troy Martin becoming IC Champ, it wasn't Shawn, Razor, or even Diesel. Instead it was Randy Savage who he faced nearly 10 years earlier in an IC title match on the September 13, 1986 episode of Superstars. Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXOt6EzeyiI

I just watched Ricky Morton pin Scott Norton CLEAN in 1996 on the Bash at the Beach pre-show. Norton was turning heel and argued with Ice Train over who would pin Morton, leading to him getting cradled.

I have a great deal of love for random matches on B Shows. For example; www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcWVu90gOykUltimo Dragon vs Randy Savage on an episode of Worldwide in 1998. Or how about Jerry Lynn and RVD rekindling their world famous feud... www.youtube.com/watch?v=7slNsy9y7Oc...On Heat? I want these B Shows on the Network so badly, they're weirdly fun to watch.

Another one from Sunday Night Heat. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YQbFenoj4cAn oddly competitive Triple H vs Perry Saturn match. Also moving away from Heat, if you want weird matches, watch 2002 Raw. It's a goldmine of strange stuff. William Regal and Hulk Hogan, for example, had a match. If memory serves me correctly it was for the world title! There was also Eddie vs Rocky for the world title, complete with Eddie giving an awesome promo about how mad he was that his little girls had a Scorpion King poster.

For those of you that are new, we've had legal threats from WWE for having embedded videos of theirs not from their channels.
If you're going to use vids hosted from other parties that uses any of their footage, link to it, do NOT embed it.

They spend time coming over here instead of flagging the crap out of the piracy central better known as YouTube. Interesting.

Nikita Koloff used "In the Air Tonight" in the AWA. WHAT~!? I'm just rereading through the thread and burst out laughing at this post. It is so frickin' random.

I was at a WWF TV taping in Huntington, WV in 1993 where they started a Jim Duggan heel turn against Kamala after the Kamala caused their tag team to lose. I know footage exists because a friend shared it to me from a non-US (maybe Canadian?) broadcast several years ago, but I haven't been able to find it again.
Also, that same show ended in a Hogan vs Giant Gonzales confrontation (G.G. was in Money Inc's corner vs Mega Maniacs, who had Crush in theirs).

Wow, Bret and Hulk teaming in 1984 - that's pretty rare.

What amazes me about this match is the pace of it. There's virtually no psychology, no storytelling, no playing to the crowd, no rest holds and no slowing down. Just six guys whaling on each other for twelve minutes.

What belt is Hogan wearing? I can't find on Wikipedia what belt he held at this time.

Watching a Spectrum show from early 1982 and that old fart who does ring announcing (while Gary Michael Cappetta is busy) announced a newcomer to the area as "Jesse The Bulldog Ventura".
You had one job...
