It took 3 weeks till this thread happened. To be honest I would have put money on two. Seeing this post out of context with the thread it originally belonged to makes it somewhat funny.

Why are they Dolph Zigglering Daniel Bryan It feels more like they're "Booker T"-ing him with all the "Good little technician", "Cruiserweight Title", etc. comments. But Booker T was the 5 time, 5 time, 5, time world champ... And GI Bro... They are even making it appear that Bryan can get the upperhand at all..

The only part I really enjoyed was the Rhodes promo after he got "fired". Then again, I've been a fan of Cody for the last few years, so I want to see him do well. As for everything else, it was a repeat of what we've seen the last two weeks, with very minimal progressions. Big Show is basically repeating what happened to him last year, only this time he's reluctantly accepting doing HHH's evil bidding, and once again, Bryan gets the shit beat out of him with no comeuppance for any of the heels. That's fine at first, but they need to show soon that Bryan can gain the upper hand at some point, or can actually get some back-up, otherwise this is entirely worthless. Because its already getting repetitive, and we're just a little over two weeks in.

I hope we get Triple H vs Daniel Bryan down the road.
Randy Orton, Triple H, The Shield vs Daniel Bryan, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, The Miz- Book it at Survivor Series! Or Battle Ground if they're planning a War Games match.

Not even close. Big Show element aside, they've done exactly what they've needed to do here. And what's that? Make Daniel Bryan look like an idiot? Look, I understand stacking the odds against him and so forth. And they've been screwing him left and right. But a reasonable person at this point would have done something about it. Apparently, Bryan doesn't seem to mind too much, because he refuses to seek out any real retribution against his conspirators.

Seems to be really polarizing. People either love it or hate it. I see it as WWE looking at Aces and Eights as a terrible, neverending angle that to a certain extent (at least for me) is truly and simply unwatchable and deciding And if Bryan is this f***ing stupid that he keeps getting knocked out every week and isn't clever enough to come up with some kind of way to foil the odds stacked against him (as Stone Cold managed to do every time) why should anyone put trust or faith into him? I can't help but see the situation as the writers/HHH have a terrible idea and Bryan just says "ok" while every other famous wrestler in his position (except for I guess Flair and Savage in Hogan's WCW) would've been like "whoah hold on why don't we do x".

I get what they're trying to do. But you wouldn't see this with Cena or Orton on the receiving end. Hell you'd have seen HHH, Austin or Rock (and Rock took his fair share of beat downs) being booked like this.

Every week he just comes out, goes, "Ha ha, Randy looks like a girl," and then learns what will be the evening's set up for him getting triple-powerbombed.

There's gonna be a point where Bryan will have enough of being left laying by the evil Corporate Facgime, that he'll snap and start snapping his foes. This might tie into whenever the revolution angle kicks in.

Daniel Bryan has gone out there in nearly no-win situations to fight hard and prove himself and each time the numbers game gets to him just like it's always done with stables such as this. How does that make him look like an idiot?

Take on all three Shield members at once and win? That would just make those three look like jobbers, i guess he could try taking them out one at a time but it's still stretching it. He can't attack triple H now because the evil corporate boss getting beat up is soemthign that needs to be built up to its fullest, so that's out. Then there's Randy Orton and you can't really have Bryan beat him up to bad before their match because then it removes tension and makes randy look like a wimp who can't win his own fights.

As a few others have said, I just find this boring. Bryan is one of my favorite wrestlers. I have always liked HHH, especially as a heel. Heck, I even have no problem with Big Show. Yet, this angle just bores me. I have gotten no entertainment from it other than the Bryan/Rollins match from a couple of weeks ago. I am not going to proclaim it to be the worst storyline ever. I have been watching wrestling since 1984 so I have seen my fair share of bad storylines. Still, I don't like this angle so far.

I accept that but Bryan has shown in the past that he can hang with and beat guys bigger than he is. It's like they've brought in a child to go one on one with Goldberg.

I don't care that it was the same ending three weeks in a row. Know why? Because Austin got beat down several weeks in a row ALL THE TIME. Anyone who states otherwise is kidding themselves. And just like Austin, Bryan will get victories along the way, even if they're small. Which will lead to bigger victories. When we have the same ending for three months, then the story is ruined.
I don't like the roster being out on stage at each ending, but that's my only problem.

If we get something akin to The Rock the night after Judgement Day 2000 when he picked off the corporation one at a time during the night, I'll take it.

They need to have Bryan & Pals come on top on Smackdown and Raw next week. The casual fans won't give a damn if they keep watching their hero get beating way more than he should. If they keep doing this 'till NOC then no one will care, especially since we already know Bryan is losing at the PPV. They're just gonna kill Bryan's momentum and pretty much the whole thing. Also f*** THAT SH*T Big Show shouldn't be the focus of ANYTHING right now. Him and Steph need to get out of this angle.

I said it in the Raw thread. I like this storyline because it feels like it is building up to something and its not for NOC. I don't want to believe it is for Cena either.
For example: they beat down Dolph and Daniel, fired Cody, made Big Show cry. Miz was involved too. Eventually these guy will rise up. Big show even said that this week shit just got real. Sarabi and the rest of the lioness did not rise up until Simba gave them hope. The wwe is still in fairly good shape right now but it won't take long until it becomes a waste land just like pride rock. The hyenas (shield) will probably turn too and Scar (Orton) will be dethroned.

We're a week closer to Cena coming back and toppling the corporation, so hooray for that I guess.
