I'm still okay with this storyline, but yeah...
...Big Show? Seriously? I tried finding the whole Big Show crying thing funny, but instead he's somehow stealing the spotlight for no real reason.
Yeah.

Nobody cares about Big Show in 2013. Creative needs to realize this.

instead he's somehow stealing the spotlight for no real reason. Yeah. This is why I never liked Big Show in this angle. It should be Miz, Ziggler, or Cody as Bryan's second. Or at least push some lowcarders to be Bryan's "little buddies". Bryan's allies should be guys who can get a major rub without taking over the story.

I mean Big Show really is the best fit for this role. I mean the face side there isn't a lot of available Hosses who can act.

I get the slow build, I get giving the corporation as many times to get heat on Daniel Bryan as possible, and I have no issue with the coroporation kicking Daniel Bryan's ass every week until the PPV or whenever. However, there are much better ways to do it than to add a dumb element like a 20 year veteran wrestler all of the sudden not wanting to hurt people into it.
Had they not added that into it I wouldn't have had a single issue with the segment tonight. None whatsoever.

I love that Big Show was crying profusely over something that he had no involvement in up until very recently.
I could see if it was Kane or someone (the idea of Kane crying isn't a good idea) who is close to him in some other way.
Instead, creative comes up with several of the dumbest reasons why Big Show did what he had to do.

But do we really need a "hoss who can act?" for this angle. I'd rather see a younger guy who needs the rub as Bryan's back up over someone whose obviously only in the storyline because he "needs to be kept busy".

the worst part is that they did exactly the same shit last year with Johnny Ace and Cena, complete with Big Show giving a horribly acted sobbing session. So now next week Show is going to come out and blame the fans again for this happening to him yet again. I know that they think that we have short attention spans but this is ridiculous.

I swear whenever Big Show starts crying I just want Tom Hanks to come up to him and yell Are you crying? Are you crying? ARE YOU CRYING? There's no crying! THERE'S NO CRYING IN SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT!

Not to mention they did a more more better direction with Cody Rhodes JUST AN HOUR AGO.

Nobody cares about Big Show in 2013. Creative needs to realize this. When you say nobody, you mean the IWC. Generally speaking, WWE fans like Big Show. I believe the segment with him being fired by Big Johnny last year did very good ratings.

Heel Big Show = Angry Giant that destroys every freaking body Face Big Show = Biggest crying wimp ever.
The guy really has split personality issues.

This whole bit of the story would be better with Kane instead.
And also less crying.

Well no one will take someone like Ryder seriously in this role. This reason this works is because Big Show is clearly so strong that he can fight off the cooperation by himself but he can't due to his job security. They are building up the suspense of Show rebelling. It's really a niche role and Big Show pulls it off the best.

They did a piss poor job of explaining away the ironclad contract plothole, but all will be forgiven if this is all somehow a way to bring DAVID OTUNGA back in as a face lawyer that eventually Unionizes the WWE Superstars (somehow in a match) which ultimately causes Vince to disinherit Steph and Trips from his will and effectively ends the second McHelmsley Era.

I really like Show but even I feel that he's not right for this angle.
Big Show is becoming more & more like Tommy Dreamer with all his crying. Sure, he's really good at it but it's overdone by this point - same goes for Dreamer crying about ECW reunion shows. Big Show changes so much between a ruthless killer character & a crying babyface that it's almost impossible to get behind him at this point.
