So with that defeat and AJ taking over(?) Bullet Club, Devitt is off to WWE now, right...right? (or atleast he will be in a few months once he does a retirement tour to lose a few titles and finish booking commitments?)

NJPW "Invasion Attack" Results - 4/6/14
1. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles Match: The Young Bucks(Matt & Nick Jackson) d. Shinsei Tag(Kota Ibushi & El Desperado) via pin at 11:47 when Matt pinned Desperado after The Bucks hit him with More Bang For Your Buck.
2. Special 6 Man Tag Team Match: Togi Makabe, Yuji Nagata & Kazushi Sakuraba d. Suzukigun(Minoru Suzuki, TAKA Michinoku & Taichi) via submission at 9:39 after Sakuraba used the Sakuraba Lock on Taichi.
3. NWA World Tag Team Titles Match: TenKoji(Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima) d. Rob Conway & Jax Dane via pin at 10:36 after Kojima hit Dane with the Lariat, followed by Tenzan hitting him with the Moonsault Press to win the match & become the new NWA World Tag Team Champions.
4. Wrestling vs. Jiu-jitsu MMA Fight: The Gracies(Daniel & Rolles) d. CHAOS(Toru Yano & Takashi Iizuka) via submission 6:56 after Daniel used a cross kneelock on Iizuka.
5. Grudge Match: Ryusuke Taguchi d. Prince Devitt via pin at 12:03 with the Dodon The End.
6. Special Tag Team Match: CHAOS(Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI) d. Bullet Club(Bad Luck Fale & Tama Tonga) via pin at 8:43 after Okada hit Tonga with the Rainmaker.
7. NEVER Openweight Title Match: Tomohiro Ishii d. Tetsuya Naito via pin at 17:45 with the Brainbuster to retain the title.
8. IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles Match: Bullet Club(Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) d. Meiyu Tag(Hirooki Goto & Katsuyori Shibata) via pin at 18:31 when Gallows pinned Goto after he & Anderson hit Goto with the Magic Killer to retain the titles.
9. IWGP Intercontinental Title Match: Shinsuke Nakamura d. Hiroshi Tanahashi via pin at 26:49 with the Boma Ye to become the new Intercontinental Champion.
* It was his last chance after successive defeats to eternal rival Hiroshi Tanahashi, but Shinsuke Nakamura reclaimed "his" IWGP Intercontinental Title in the main event at Sumo Hall today, defeating Tanahashi. After his win however, out came the Gracies, who earlier had continued their rampage by beating Yano & Iizuka. Daniel Gracie, whose handed Nakamura his only MMA loss back in 2002, challenged the 3-time champion to a match. Then out came Sakuraba, who suggested a tag union with Nakamura to face the Gracies. So most likely it'll be a tag match leading to a singles match between Nakamura & Daniel.
* In another show-stealer, Tomohiro Ishii held onto the NEVER Openweight Title by defeating the same man he took the belt from, Tetsuya Naito, in a hot match. After the match, KUSHIDA challenged Ishii to a title shot backstage.
* It has been rumored for a while and came to be. Former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles, invaded New Japan after Okada had pinned Tonga in the 6th match, laying the IWGP Heavyweight Champion out with the Styles Clash! Styles insulted Okada and revealed a Bullet Club t-shirt! Styles has signed a contract with New Japan and is there to stay.
* AJ Styles' Bullet Club membership came as Prince Devitt's future was up in the air. Months of rumors of him joining WWE were followed by an unofficial "Loser Leaves Town" stipulation being added to his match against former tag partner Taguchi today. Taguchi finally defeated the Bullet Club leader with a new variation of the Dodon. With the "Loser Leaves Town" stipulation never made official, Devitt's future remains a mystery. He tried to shake hands with Taguchi after the match, suggesting he has seen the error of his dastardly ways. Many signs point to Styles replacing Devitt as leader of the Bullet Club, though.
* One of Japan's all-time greatest tag teams added yet another title to their collection as Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima defeated Rob Conway & Jax Dane to win the historic NWA World Tag Team Titles after Tenzan pinned Dane. This makes Kojima a double champion, as he also holds the NWA World Heavyweight Title, showing that even the older stars of New Japan (Nagata is also the GHC Heavyweight Champion) are still relevant in the Japanese wrestling scene.

They seriously are going to do Swag vs a Gracie for the belt?!? WHY! Also this might be Devitt's final bodypaint attire in Japan

If anyone can get a good match out of the Gracies, it's Shinsuke. He knows how to incorporate MMA into wrestling, and make it into a great match. Hell, his match with Sakuraba was one of my favorite matches of last year!

Hell, his match with Sakuraba was one of my favorite matches of last year! True, but Sakuraba does know how to wrestle and adapt to the pro wrestling style. The Gracies do not.

AJ Styles won't have to wait long to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship with the announcement today that the new arrival will challenge Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in the main event of "Wrestling Dontaku" on 5/3. This is one of three big matches announced today, another being Shinsuke Nakamura & Kazushi Sakuraba vs. The Gracies in a tag match & Kota Ibushi vs. Ryusuke Taguchi for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title after Taguchi beat former champion Prince Devitt yesterday. Before then, New Japan heads to Taiwan for 2 shows, on 4/12 & 4/13, with three title matches booked. On 4/12, Satoshi Kojima defends the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against the former champ, Rob Conway and Tomohiro Ishii defends the NEVER Openweight Title against KUSHIDA. On 4/13, TenKoji defend the NWA World Tag Team Titles against former champs Rob Conway & Jax Dane, plus, Forever Hooligans(Rocky Romero & Alex Koslov) will battle Jushin Thunder Liger & Tiger Mask in a #1 contenders match for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles. It's true that people in NJPW started chanting "HAI" or is that a joke?

It's true that people in NJPW started chanting "HAI" or is that a joke? That would be hilarious if true. Their crowds aren't usually ones to chant specific chants at people.

It's true that people in NJPW started chanting "HAI" or is that a joke? Do you mean wrestlers, or the crowd? Because if the latter, that is the best thing that I've heard all week.

Two titles were successfully defended on day 1 of New Japan's Taiwan double header yesterday. Satoshi Kojima held onto the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against the man he took it from, Rob Conway, pinning him after a Lariat. And Tomohiro Ishii made a successful V2 defense of his NEVER Openweight Title, beating junior heavyweight KUSHIDA with a Brainbuster to retain the belt.
The sixth match on the 2nd show later today between Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows and Hirooki Goto & Captain Taiwan(Captain New Japan) has been turned into an IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles match after an appeal from Captain Taiwan yesterday.
