I'd like Shibata, HASHI, or Yano(nope, lolTanaWins) to win, because those 3 are the characters I'm really interested in right now. If Shibata wins, I'd love to see him vs Nakamura, and the other two for the NEVER. YOSHI HASHI is even bigger jobber than Zack Ryder I think it's pretty much either Ibushi (goes after Nakamura's ic and finally gets the win) or Shibata (who has clean wins over Nakamura and Tanahashi, has been treated as upper midcarder). Hopefully it frees Nakamura to go after IWGP Title and AJ Styles. That's a money feud/match out there.

This Sunday for NOAH's show at Korakuen Hall, Marufuji is bringing in a mystery partner for his tag match against Suzuki and Iizuka

Love to see Shibata, Yujiro and Ibushi make it t the final rounds.
I think Okada will too, just to put an end to his whole thing with Fale lately.
Shibata vs Styles would be crazy. But so would Okada/Styles, especially since Okada's crew has been more at odds with Bullet Club. Lotta good options though.

With him leaving TNA, I'd love to see Joe take on Ishii. Imagine the blows delivered from those two going at it.

But so would Okada/Styles, especially since Okada's crew has been more at odds with Bullet Club. Lotta good options though. Okada/Styles has happened 3 times on major shows. I won't say they were MOTYC, but G1 match was really good. The end game for this reigns for AJ's title run is always going to be against Okada i think. Makes major sense considering Okada lost his title via bulletference last year and never got his revenge on Styles (he beat him at G1, but that wasn't for title) As for Joe, he was best wrestler in the world in 2005-2006. Combination of bad booking and lack of fire have held back him. He can be good in Japan. Everyone say AJ has done well in Japan, so could Joe. But AJ consistently updates his moveset and wrestling style (he was doing some UFC stuff when he was feuding with Frank Trigg and i didn't know he has amateur wrestling experience until Meltzer noted it) and also a very smart worker who can make his opponents look good even in defeat. My biggest problem with Joe in TNA is that he always runs over opponent and in that way only make himself look good. Pretty much squash matches earlier in TNA/ROH. He can be good for NEVER title which has become synonymous for brute brawlers. Hope he joins them soon. Ishii/Joe, Makabe/Joe, Shibata/Joe or even Okada/Joe playing their history in TNA would be soo cool

With Samoa Joe, I wonder if NJPW were to bring him in, they'd perhaps send him to NOAH since that promotion needs extra bodies more. I could see him challenging for the GHC Heavyweight title at a Korakuen Hall show and settling into a upper midcard or tag team role over there. YOSHI HASHI is even bigger jobber than Zack RyderI think it's pretty much either Ibushi (goes after Nakamura's ic and finally gets the win) or Shibata (who has clean wins over Nakamura and Tanahashi, has been treated as upper midcarder). Everyone who isn't a young lion will be on pretty much every NJPW PPV.

In NJPW I'd say he's above Captain New Japan's standing. (I can only remember 1 time where CNJ won, there was a YL in the match)

Is it funny to anyone else how disinterested Shibata always seems about pro wrestling and yet still put's on the great matches he does?

(I can only remember 1 time where CNJ won, there was a YL in the match) I can probably count on one hand the number of times Yoshi-Hashi has pinned someone. At least Captain New Japan pinned Prince Devitt last year. Ryder was a champion and had a little push going for a while, more than Yoshi-Hashi can say. Yeah, Ryder's doing nothing now but my point is you can be doing nothing and still be squeezed into a meaningless 8 man tag on a NJPW PPV.

If he's part of a match, he getting pinned. Captain New Japan is basically a mascot. The Santino of NJPW.

My only problem with Shibata is god DAMN is his MMA record terrible for someone who looks like, carries himself as, and performs like a complete badass.

I was kinda concerned what would happen with Rocky, post-Koslov. {Spoiler} Trent's a great tag team guy so I'm sure they'll work up some terrific gimmick.
