Ishii and Honma deserve all 5 of those stars. And more importantly they have gone to show that any Title can be valuable and prestigious if guys go out and prove that they want it and its treated as a legit prize instead of just a strap.

He only gave Nakamura/Nagata a half star more than Conway/Tenzan?
I never really got too into star ratings for matches, but come on....that Conway/Tenzan match was a snoozer.

So I'm watching the New Beginning in Sendai and just got done watching the 6-man between Bullet Club v. Time Splitters and Mascara Dorada. Man, was that a fun match. Did anybody else like that match?

Just finished the Sendai show. That Honma/Ishii match *mind explodes*. It definitely lived up to the hype. As for the main event, it was pretty good, but there definitely was something missing. Also, I'm glad Okada/YOSHI-HASHI got the win over Fale and Takahashi. I was starting to get pissed at having Okada lose seemingly every match in their feud so far.

I wouldn't say Taguchi/Omega sucked. I actually enjoyed it. Sure its not a "five star classic" but it was really fun to watch with a lot of creativity and quirkiness. That's the kind of stuff that's fun to have in a PPV especially amongst guys like Omega and Taguchi who are super good at seamlessly blending comedy into a great match.

Watching the new Young Lion in Jay White, the kid's got promise. Give him two or three years and he may become quite good.

KUSHIDA is one guy i'm starting to like a lot after initially dismissing him as another super juniors guy. I think his run as champ was cut short, especially to Taguchi of all people. He has decent charisma and really good in ring (not as good as heavyweights, but super for a junior), hope he has another run in the BOSJ.

I like KUSHIDA a lot as well.
I watched my WK9 blu ray today. God damn, what a show. Nakamura vs Ibushi was just such an excellent match, and I also loved Suzuki vs Sakuraba even more on a second viewing. Speaking of Nakamura vs Ibushi, my dad watched their G1 match on AXS earlier and while he's normally one of those people who just doesn't get why I love wrestling that match made him a full convert. He's been testing the waters with the other shows, and is a big fan of Okada, but tonight he fully transitioned to "holy shit, that was awesome" mode. It was fun to see.

I remember first seeing KUSHIDA shortly after his young boy phase and instantly took an interest in him when I found out he was a student of Tajiri's. I feel, much like Tajiri back in the day, he sort of went under the radar in his progression and became a pretty good hand without many noticing.

So Yano is continuing his never-ending feud with Suzuki-Gun. He came to the aid of Marafuchi along with Captain NOAH.

Well it's not like Yano was going to go for any titles this year. Eventually Suzuki's going to kill Yano, right?

Throughout 2013 and 2014, those two faced each other at nearly every house show, Korakuen Hall event, and PPV that New Japan did and those matches were the dreaded part of the show for fans and watchers and skippable.
After having a rebirth from The G1 and his match with Sakuraba at WK9, Suzuki does not need to get stuck facing Yano all the time again.

All I know is that KUSHIDA could do anything he wants from here on, and because he went whole hog dressing as Back to the Future II Marty McFly I'd be a fan.
