It would be funny to see Heyman on the former TNN again.

I can't see the MMA-deal. He could help to market it I guess but does this job really cater to his strengths?
As has been noted TNA would probably be the most-likely promotion to hire him if he is really done with WWE. But it wouldn't me to see the E keep him on the sidelines just to avoid him getting into enemy hands. I think they fear what Paul could do with the reigns of a promotion that has considerable talent, some financial backing, and a primetime-tv deal.

Speaking of MMA, I'm curious to see what "Angle's Rules" are going to be when he has his MMA match. I'm guessing that more moves will be allowed (Kurt already mentioned the headbutt would be legal) and the only way to win is by giving up or getting legitimately knocked unconscious. In other words, the referee wouldn't be able to stop the match if someone was getting pounded on the ground. This would play to Kurt's strengths.

This "AWA" did something similar about two years ago, promoting Steve Austin much like they are Heyman....
Anyway, regarding the Mantel/Jarrett comment about a "grudge":
Heyman first made waves as a manager while working for Jerry Lawler & Jerry Jarrett in Memphis, so there might be more of a bridge there than a wall and moat.. If you get what I'm saying.
Heyman working for TNA by pushing the pencil > Anything Vince Russo does for TNA, including emptying wastebaskets and holding doors open for people.....

Heyman should wait for TNA to come to him (they will eventually). When they do, Heyman can make some big demands so that he doesn't have to compromise like in WWE.

I mean I see he was canned but how is this not a work? (I stopped reading the dirt sheets) I'm still not 100% convinced this is legit, either, given how WWE did their PR with the "Mr. McMahon" in it, as opposed to "Vince McMahon." WWE work mode always goes with the t. v. persona (i. e. "Mr. McMahon.") I do believe - 100% that Paul was yanked from all involvement with that putrid turd known as WWECW. While I'm hoping Heyman does not re-sign with the Stamford McMorons when his contract expires, and he does indeed end up booking TNA; my gut tells me he'll just end up back in OVW, or even DSW and collect WWE paychecks. I'd definitely like to be wrong and see Heyman leave and totally kick the McMoron's collective asses.

I dont remember who suggested it, but I like the idea of him going to TNA and booking the Main event / championship picture, while Russo books the X division / middle/ undercard. It would be fun to see the difference in styles, and see if a rivalry develops between them..

It would be fun to see the difference in styles, and see if a rivalry develops between them.. If that happened, TNA would literally be turned on its head. The World Title would be respected while the X-Division Title became a joke.

Heyman ain't going anywhere. No matter how much he'd love to be in charge (and we'd love him to) ECW is property of WWE. Unless he plans on getting some investment help and gaining some credibility in TNA and then starting a NEW company (far fetched) He won;t leave his baby
