I was just thinking about the Austin vs HBK match from WM14. I was still pretty young and a huge Shawn mark. Seeing him lose to a fast count like that was devastating to my younger self.
So what matches broke your little mark heart?

Oh and the two consecutive Dusty finishes during Flair and Luger's 1988 feud. It was years...YEARS before my dad would pay for a non WWF event again. Matter if fact I don't think he ever did after starcade 88

Matter if fact I don't think he ever did after starcade 88 Those finishes are just terrible for business, yet Triple H practically just did the same, and what happened? A PPV provider was forced to give refunds because a massive amount of complaints. I've seen small indy companies all but die, due to such dumb booking. WCW was particularly bad at this. Sting had like 4 WCW title wins, that were just taken back. Even at WCW's height, their PPV buyrates were not as good as WWE's (who almost never did it).

Edge vs Cena at Royal Rumble 2006. Boy did that one piss me off at the time.
Nothing compares to the sheer amount of rage I had after Sheamus vs Bryan at WM 28. I didn't even care that Bryan lost the title, I expected as much, but it was one of 4 matches that I wanted to see. I paid half of the PPV price and then they just go and suck the air out of the room by doing that dumb shit at the beginning of the show. It damn near ruined the show for me, and nothing else on the show really made up for it. f*** WWE for that. I probably won't pay for another Wrestlemania after seeing how lackluster the past three have been.

When Rock beat Cena, but I realize it was whatever.
When Edge took Kofi's spot in the chamber and won. But that was back when I hated heels.

Christian losing to Orton on Smackdown still stings. I was on my previous account at that time and I'd only signed up just before Extreme Rules and I was so happy when Christian won. The collective dismay when he lost it and the outrage that followed was depressing. Glad you guys got me through it! (Which reminds me. How long was that spoiler thread, like 80 pages in the end?)
The manner of Bryan's defeat to Sheamus at WM28. Considering there were only three matches on that card I was really looking forward to and then to have one of those be over in 18 seconds really just took me out of the show until Taker/HHH. Sad considering it was WrestleMania.
Edge's defeat to Cena at Unforgiven as well. It was a great match and everything but I was so tired of Cena at this point I'd have cheered Hornswoggle against him. And then for him to win when finally it looked like they might freshen things up and send him to Smackdown was very depressing. Plus Edge was really excelling in his role as Champ at the time. The result of that match was enough for me to take a hiatus from WWE until Bryan's debut. I watched the occasional PPV and watched every 'Mania but that burnt me out enough that I'd only tune in if I knew something good was going on (like when a friend told me to catch up on the Hardy/Punk feud in '09). So this is probably the hardest I've taken a defeat considering it actually caused me to stop watching the product. Christian losing was certainly more emotional though.

I was 50/50 on the Orton/Christian match. Cause they're two of my favs. If it had been someone I loved who was already very succesful (like Punk, Austin, HBK etc.) I wouldn't have been too upset. And if it had been clear that it was just to further the storyline to get Christian more over (like it was for Bryan) I wouldn't have minded. But it was the fact that I had been waiting for years to see Christian win a proper World Title in WWE and it clearly meant so much to him and for him to have that just ripped away from him so soon after just depressed me. I had nothing against Orton before that, still don't because it wasn't his fault but I HATED what had happened to Christian - he deserved better than that. Him losing it straight away, turning heel inexplicably and losing all but one match (which he won by DQ) to Orton turned him into a total joke and completely killed all the momentum he'd built up since Elimination Chamber. Makes me sad really.

For me, JBL beating Eddie for the title. JBL was really damn good at making people hate his guts.

Triple H beating The Rock at Wrestlemania 16. Though it did lead to one of the greatest finishes of all time at the next PPV.

Bulldog vs Shawn Michaels at One Night Only. That still angers me to this day. I was probably 14 at the time and i was fuming, literally throwing stuff at the TV that Michaels beat him.
