Leaked WWE memo reveals orders from Vince, Steph and Dunn

- An internal WWE memo from a few years back recently leaked and stated a few things of interest:

* Vince McMahon no longer wants "Granddaddy of them all" using to describe WrestleMania because he feels it makes WrestleMania feel old and dated.

* Nobody can use the phrase "choke" for a submission move. Undertaker's Hell's Gate move was named Triangle submission hold.

* Producer Kevin Dunn stated that announcers can no longer use the phrase "title changes hands."

* Vince banned the use of terms "five star match" and "match of the year." As part of the memo banning those terms, Vince also wanted all announcers to "stop reading the dirt sheets" with the idea that it influences what they say.

* Stephanie McMahon sent a memo for announcers to never use the phrase "the referee didn’t see it" when a heel is doing something behind the referees back. She wrote that it makes it seem like the announcers are treating the fans like they are in grade school. Stephanie prefers "the referee’s vision was impaired" or "the referee’s vision was blocked." Also, never use the word "hatred" or "hate" when describing a feud and the announcers should never say a talent doesn't care about winning a match.

An employer has to set out the shows guidelines for everybody or else you get nuisances like JBL and Matt Striker making the show unwatchable.

Vince Mcmahon and company have been doing this for years and must have good reasons for ensuring that the commentators know their place.

MORE DETAILS REGARDING RUMORED MEMO LEAK

As others have been reporting, rumors have run amok regarding possible restrictions levied against WWE talent in using certain terms and phrases on WWE programming. This memo is real. We've seen it. We've made copies of it. And we use the copies as gift wrapping paper for the holiday season. We would make it into toilet paper if we had the technology.

While the things listed on the memo are 100% true, there are some more obscure requests that are missing in the recent stories surrounding this memo....

- When promoting a PPV, make sure you don't acknowledge the price. If we tell the suckers (WWE Universe) the extravagant cost of watching main events with indecisive finishes, they'll probably not wanna pay for it.

- No ad-libbing. We know EVERYBODY thinks they're Bobby f***ing Heenan around here. This isn't improv class. You do the jokes Vince and the writers wrote. The problem isn't the humor. It's all about the delivery. Look at how Jerry COMMITS to the jokes we give him.

- We want you to really sell a celebrity sighting in a live crowd. Our desperation for mainstream appeal has only grown more significant through the years. Celebrity validation is number two behind profits for our brand. It doesn't matter even if it's Fred f***ing Durst in the audience. People might still know him. Share with the suckers (WWE Universe) how much he enjoys the WWE even if the real reason he's there is because he lost a bet (Susan St. James, 1986).

- Don't use southern phrases like 'lateral press' or 'slobberknocker' or 'barbeque sauce'. It's the reason we fired Jim Ross eight times over his tenure with the company. And when we hire him again in three months, the ninth.

- If Ric Flair is clearly intoxicated in the ring, don't acknowledge this. Explain that why he's talking about bleeding virgins and dropping his pants around his ankles is because of mental exhaustion. We obviously could stop him from going out there, but you know how much Triple H loves him like a crazy uncle who believes world leaders are lizard people.

- MOST IMPORTANTLY, please try to refrain from experiencing medical emergencies out there. While this may sound borderline sociopathic, try to see it our way for a damn minute. The suckers (WWE Universe) need to be informed of what's transpiring in the ring. They can't be watching our show on mute while medical personnel are attending to your exploding appendix. The very last thing we want viewers to experience while watching our programming is silence that allows them to think. Our fear is that their ability to think while witnessing our spectacle would set off a chain reaction of embarrassing self-awareness that leads to them changing to channel forever.
