LOL at the idea that this might be a work. Ohno was just a developmental guy who rarely appeared in last 6 months and most of the fanbase doesn't even know he exists, not to mention that he was fired. He shows up at Raw with or without this "swerve" and no one will know who he is. Imagine that ratings Spike after the great Kassius Ohno shows up on a Raw after fooling everyone. This hasn't caught any mainstream attention (or any attention for most part) to actually have people care about the situation and his "firing" or firing. Maybe if he was CM Punk that plan would be successful, but what's the point of working the people who actually know about him when they watch WWE anyways. Lets face it, if you watch NXT you're already watching Raw in most cases. The lengths to explain why a guy that failed to do anything in almost two years was fired... Maybe he'll show up as Hornswoggles big brother whenever Saturday Morning Slam comes back. Let's not ignore that possibility. Yes, Ohno was just a developmental guy, but before that, he was an Indy God on almost the same level Punk was before his signing. Sure, casual fans who only follow WWE might not know who he is when he wanders out to wrestle, but that is true of ANY talent that debuts for the first time on WWE tv. No one is a superstar in their first appearance. And no, I don't watch RAW. I watched NXT only because I was so familiar with a lot of the talent, Ohno and Zayn especially. Not being a fan of the WWE product as a whole though, I don't generally watch, as I know many others aren't fans and do not watch. But, if I heard a guy I like a lot, such as Ohno, was going to debut or made a surprise appearance, I would certainly try to tune in just o catch him and see what they are going to do with him. So just because YOU don't like the guy or think this way, doesn't mean NO ONE does. It seems to me that if this was indeed a work, it would have done pretty well, since this is the most I've heard mentioned about the guy since he signed. Now go roll your f***ing eyes somewhere else and stick that smug attitude.

Or maybe he'll show up at WM XXX and make a run in in the Undertaker match and help end the Streak. WWE must attract the millions of fans that watch only NXT asap. {Spoiler}

The only theory that makes any sense right now in my opinion is that Kassius Ohno was not released, but his contract was up and they either A. decided not to renew it or B. he chose not to re-sign. Otherwise, I don't see how he'd be able to do all these appearances considering they have to be approved and some of them are relatively big names

Either Hero's contract expired or he's going the Raven route and feels that he's financially secure enough to forfeit his 90 days of getting paid for doing nothing in exchange for getting a buzz going.

No way his contract expired unless he signed like a weird 22 month contract or something

Quite a few of the last batch of developmental releases were working again well before 90 days. As was mentioned, Cabana was working the next day and he actually made it to the main roster, so it wouldn't be without precedent.

Cabana wrestled on a show released on DVD.

Also, keep in mind that a no-compete clause is just saying that in exchange for not showing up on another company's TV show or PPV for 90 days, the guy gets paid for doing nothing. Technically, if the guy really doesn't want the money, he could show up on another company's TV show the next day. WWE couldn't do anything about it because the general belief is that the 90 day no compete clause would never hold up in an actual courtroom. Nobody questions it because well, why would they? They get 3 months pay for doing nothing.

Jim Ross discusses Hero... Does JR run his comments through an English To Useless translator before posting? It's like he's going out of his way to find the most long-winded manner possible of saying, "I don't know, but probably there's some sort of reason for it, maybe."

Broke his silence and handled it in a good way and even tried to talk down the angry fans too. I like that.

That's how you address people after you've been fired, put over everyone in WWE/NXT as being worthy of support, philosophize about the future and the past, and just overall have a positive attitude about things. I suspect that he'll make his way back in the not too distant future.

Chris Hero has broken his silence... Having never seen the guy wrestle, I got nothing but respect for someone who handles the situation like he just did. That was a very mature, rational response coming from someone who was in a position where he had all the right to be a little irrational. Hope he eventually comes back to the WWE.

Classy letter, classy guy and an incredible talent. He knows he has a bright and long future ahead of him, and he is happy wherever he goes (or comes back to). I hope to eventually see an indy event one day in the near future and he is near the top of my list of one's I want to see live. The guy is now going to be raking it in in the indys, doing what he loves, catching up with some people and traveling the world again. Can't wait to see All Star Weekend X

You show up on someone else's show, you forfeit all appearance fees, PPV bonuses, etc. owed from the last three months.
