According to PWInsider, the members of The Ascension, the current NXT Tag Team Champions, have new names.
Conor O'Brian is now known as KONNOR, and Rick Victor is VIKTOR. Makes much more sense for them to have mysterious names rather than normal people names.

Thank McMahon(instead of saying God) they got new names. With characters like that they don't need names like that.

Great, I've been bitching about this for what seems like forever. It never made sense for supernatural-esque characters to be "first name/ last name" guys. I'm still not sold on the name Konnor, but that's probably because I have a cousin named Connor, and he's the least scary person ever.

Should have just gone all the way, kept the name Conor O'Brien but changed the other guy's name to Randy Richter. They they keep their spooky highlander gimmick, but add a new dimension to it by giving them a scary talk show.

Great. Now all they need is some charisma, mic skills, a new entrance theme, a gimmick that doesn't make them look like edgy 16 year olds, and a wrestling style that doesn't put me to sleep.
