"Rising Storm" mod (real world 1991) and first day...... second day and got this one (it's a narrative though, so.... not that special) (for those who don't know, narratives are stories put in by the mod maker) -edit- stupid me. After reading the Hennan one closer, it's obviously a narrative too.

Went ahead and purchased TEW13 after going through the demo, got a real world mod for this year and probably gonna run a PWG or Chikara game to find my bearings. As of now though the change is literally night and day 13 is a million times better than 05 it's not even close.

I tried 05 for a few hours & couldn't get on with it, a few hours into 13 & I was hooked. I have to restrict myself from playing it as it affects my social life I've been waiting on a Real World mod to be finished, it was going to be done sometime this month, I'll have to go & check that

Yeah, I've been trying the demo of TEW2013 too. After booking a couple of weeks of USPW I have an appreciation for the Cornellverse.

I'm the same, never played with the Cornellverse in any of the editions of TEW I've had, but can definitely appreciate the amount of work that goes into designing and developing hundreds of unique characters.

Yeah, the whole thing about the Cornellverse is that it's designed around the game and the mechanics. Sure you can look at it and go "who are all these goobers" but I actually prefer the cornellverse just because there's no preconceived notions about what you should do with these guys.

So I took the plunge and bought TEW2013. Loving it. To celebrate I'm posting my Wrestlemania 31 card because I really am proud of it.
----------------------------------------------------------------
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Brock Lesnar(c) w/Paul Heyman v Daniel Bryan
Sting v The Undertaker
WWE United States Championship Rusev(c) w/Lana v Roman Reigns
John Cena v Samoa Joe/Kevin Owens (Joe's contract with TNA is up so I extended an offer. If I manage to sign him then he'll face Cena. Otherwise Owens will step in.)
WWE Diva's Championship AJ Lee(c) v Paige v Nikki Bella v Sasha Banks v Becky Lynch v Charlotte
Triple H v CM Punk If Punk wins the Authority is disbanded. If Triple H wins Punk is fired.
The Rock v Bray Wyatt (I didn't have anything else for Wyatt and I read a diary where someone did this feud so I thought why not?)
Randy Orton v Seth Rollins
The Miz v Chris Jericho
WWE Intercontinental Championship Bad News Barrett(c) v Dolph Ziggler v Dean Ambrose v Fandango v John Morrison (Miz and Jericho were supposed to in this match but you can't do seven man matches in TEW2013 so their feud gets it's own match)
WWE Tag Team Championship The Brass Ring Club(c) v The Usos v The Dudley Boyz v The New Day
Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Goldust & Lucha Dragons v Stardust & The Ascension
------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, quite a lot of matches. I'll probably have to move the bottom three matches to the pre-show but I'll see.
So what do you think?

Is anyone using Fleisch's real world data October 2015? I'm simming & trying to figure out why the Undertaker is jobbing to Finn Balor, Curtis Axel & Adam Rose in dark matches

Running a fictional universe game and an AI promotion has 80 pop lucha megastar Green Doctor Jr lose routinely to 40 pop workers. Is Undertaker's push still Occasional Wrestler/Semi-Active Wrestler? That might go some distance to explain the results.

Passing the torch role in his contract means he's more likely to lose to younger workers. Pretty odd that The Undertaker - he of recently dick kicking Brock Lesnar into oblivion fame - is on a passing the torch role in his contract, if you remove that he should stop losing to everyone. The Power 500 at start is based on worker stats as well, obviously the mod maker has Regal as being better in ring than Taker but even then, #3 seems awfully high.

Ah, I'm not sure the Passing the Torch is in his contract but it sure seems to be what he's doing
I might have to tweak this data a little to suit my liking, should be fun
ETA: Just had a look under the hood & he has the Intended Role of Special Attraction, I wonder if the AI Vince has tweaked that due to his upcoming retirement

So in 1990 WCW just changed Champions with Stan Lane winning the big gold belt on its TV show
Interesting choice there Turner.

Been playing through a current Real World mod on TEW13 and bouncing around as different companies while I get a feel for the game. I eventually decided to do a WWE game but got a bit frustrated when about half of the NXT folks were pissed about not being called up yet. I'm thinking of putting the current day mod away for the time being and heading back in time. Maybe to the Rock 'n Wrestling era or Attitude, I've seen some cool looking real world mods for these eras but I was curious if you guys had any favorites?

Historical mods are more enjoyable than modern mods for me. Both options are damn good.

About 3 years into my PWG game. So far, we are f***ing hot. Selling out the MGM Garden arena, getting 5,000+ shows everywhere in the country, $2 million budget and access to any non-WWE talent that can work in America. Unfortunately, our expansion has led to 50% of the Indie world to dislike us (Most recently Shimmer, as I just introduced a Woman's Title with high-calibur womens matches). Tradgedy also struck the company 2 weeks before PWG THIRTEEN as Excalibur passed away in a car accident. Therefore, the announcing became a bit more polished with the 3 man team of Kevin Kelly, Mike Tenay and Matt Striker. Out of the last 15 shows, all but 2 have been B-
The card from the most recent B- show:
PWG Mystery Vortex: June 2018 Coliseo Hector Sola Bezares, Puerto Rico Attendance: 7,804 PPV buyrate: 0.12
- Michael Elgin defeats Brian Cage - Marty Scurll defeats Chuck Taylor - Fenix/Killshot defeats Juicy Product (Tied for MOTN) - Jay Lethal defeats Andrew Everett - Drew Gulak defeats Johnny Gargano (Tied for MOTN) - Mia Yim defeats Madison Eagles to become the inagural PWG Women's Champion - Akira Tozawa defeats Chris Hero - Future Shock defeats The Briscoes - Zack Sabre Jr defeats Kurt Angle (Unfortunately, Kurt's too hurt for good matches anymore) - 'Speedball' Mike Bailey defeats Timothy Thatcher to retain the PWG Championship
Building towards BOLA, where I'm pretty set on the finals being Gulak/Tozawa/O'Reilly. Gonna be tough to pick a winner, but the crowds have been in love with Gulak lately

Anyone have any place where they post diaries? I am a mod of a forum (http://ewrwc.proboards.com/) that has pretty much died in the past few months. Just curious.
Also, after all I've read here, I'm going to purchase TEW '13 in the near future. Your guys' input has been decisive. I'm looking forward to the upgrade from EWR.
