I hotshotted the belt back to Diesel and set up a heel turn for him. Plan for WrestleMania now is Diesel/Undertaker, Lawler/Razor/Kid, Bret/Benoit, and Michaels and Blaze/Skip and Sunny as the top matches on the card.
I also made IRS a babyface lol

Gonna run Rotundo vs. King Kong Bundy at In Your House, then Rotundo vs. the new member of the Corporation at WrestleMania.

So, when I started this game, I can safely say that Mike Rotundo vs. John Kronus was not a match I was expecting to be booking at WrestleMania, but here we are.

So the full WrestleMania 12 card was:
Yokozuna and Hakushi won a ten team battle royal over Nuclear Chaos (Crush and Adam Bomb), Fall of Light (Balls Mahoney and Gangrel), Smoking Gunns, Bushwhackers, Harlem Heat, Headbangers (last minute substitution for the Heavenly Bodies, as Tom Prichard was injured five days before the show), Thrillseekers, Owen Hart and Shane Douglas (Douglas was a replacement for the injured Brian Pillman, plus I felt like I needed to create a new tag team for storyline purposes), and Headshrinkers, to earn a shot at the Tag Team Titles
Yokozuna and Hakushi def. Tatanka and Mr. Hughes to win the Tag Team Titles
Chris Benoit def. Brian Jesse James
Mike Rotundo def. John Kronus after King Kong Bundy botched a run-in
Jerry Lawler def. Razor Ramon and 1-2-3 Kid to retain the Intercontinental Title
Bam Bam Bigelow def. British Bulldog
Shawn Michaels and Alundra Blayze def. Chris Candido and Women's Champion Tammy Sytch
Bret Hart def. Hunter Hearst Helmsley
Undertaker def. World Champion Diesel by disqualification following interference by Paul E Dangerously
I do have a couple of things planned going forward, including the greatest double-turn in the history of our great sport, the creation of a new Championship, and some new arrivals from WCW and other companies next month.

Chris Candido and Women's Champion Tammy Sytch Bret Hart def. Hunter Hearst Helmsley Undertaker def. World Champion Diesel by disqualification following interference by Paul E Dangerously I do have a couple of things planned going forward, including the greatest double-turn in the history of our great sport, the creation of a new Championship, and some new arrivals from WCW and other companies next month. And as a follow-up, here's what happened on the Raw After Mania! Vince McMahon interviewed Bret Hart about his victory over Hunter Hearst Helmsley at WrestleMania and wanted to know what's next for the Hitman. Bret responded that 1995 wasn't a great year for him, he took a lot of losses and never even sniffed the World Title picture. Maybe it's time for him to step away for a bit... Ahmed Johnson made his big in-ring debut, defeating King Kong Bundy (coincidentally, it was Johnson who emailed me after the show to complain about Bundy working stiff lol) After the match, Ted DiBiase berated Bundy, who grabbed the Million Dollar Man by the throat, only for Tatanka, Mr. Hughes and John Kronus to attack him. After Bundy was beaten down, DiBiase dropped a few bills at his feet, telling him that was his severance pay Tatanka and Hughes then went off on Yokozuna and Hakushi, vowing to get their belts back The Thrillseekers def. The Headbangers, while McMahon and Lawler rambled on commentary about Jericho and Storm wanting to win the Tag Titles this year The Dangerous Alliance cut a promo (well, Paul E. cut the promo, while The Headshrinkers stood in the background growling, and Benoit posed with a new Championship belt over his shoulder, grinning smugly); Dangerously explained that Benoit had more than proven himself over the last several months, so as a symbol of that hard work, he had a new title commissioned, the WWF International Excellence Championship! Benoit went on to defend that title against "The Portuguese Man of War" Aldo Montoya, defeating him soundly with a variation of the Crossface A special Monday Night edition of Piper's Pit quickly broke down, as Piper had both WWF World Champion Diesel and The Undertaker on the show. As the interview went on, it was clear that The Undertaker was not ready to accept "a hollow victory" over the Champion. Undertaker said he wanted his rematch and vowed to bury Diesel. Diesel said he can't be killed, so Taker said he'll just have to bury him alive... this sent Diesel over the edge and he sucker punched Undertaker, leading to a huge brawl that destroyed the Piper's Pit set 1-2-3 Kid cut a promo, calling Jerry Lawler a "cheating sack of something you use to make your plants grow better" and said he'd get his soon... 1-2-3 Kid def. Pierre by disqualification when Jerry Lawler interfered; Razor Ramon made the save for The Kid, finally turning face once again To end the show, Shawn Michaels and Alundra Blayze came out to celebrate their win over Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch. Michaels was dressed quite formally, while Blayze wore jeans and an HBK t-shirt. As she talked about regaining the Women's Championship, Michaels could be seen fumbling around with something in his jacket pocket. When Blayze finally turned around, Michaels dropped to one knee and popped the question. Alundra looked shocked and overwhelmed, before shouting out a jubilant "YES!" The show ended with the happy couple embracing and sharing a tender kiss in the center of the ring...

So I just purchased a pair of companies that had sprung up earlier in the save and were near bankruptcy. Did it because a lot of the guys I wanted to hire were signed to them, but also working Japan dates. I'm hoping to get some of them to stick around when the time comes for Japan to update their rosters lol Oh, also: D'Lo Brown married one of Linda McMahon's secret daughters, so I've started pushing D'Lo, with Vince making "shoot" comments about it mattering who you marry these days...

My roster is now a cluster-f*** lol Thanks to pressure from All Japan, Rey Mysterio, Juventud Guerrera and 2 Cold Scorpio decided they won't work for any Global companies, but Stevie Richards stayed! I'm not heavily pushing too many people right now, but Raven, Cactus Jack and Marty Jannetty figure heavily into my plans. I'm at the King of the Ring build right now. Diesel is going to be defending the World Title against Yokozuna. The Thrillseekers are the Tag Team Champs and involved in a three-way feud with The Headshrinkers and Nuclear Chaos, which will likely set up a match for the PPV. Sir William Regal debuted at In Your House as a surprise opponent for Konnan, and then attacked new Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon the following night. Konnan is chasing Chris Benoit's International Excellence Championship. Shawn Michaels and Alundra Blayze are engaged and I'm planning a SummerSlam wedding. Bret Hart was supposed to return on the last Raw, but I forgot to do it lol, I also forgot Jim Neidhart appeared at In Your House: BANZAI!!! and helped the Allied Powers beat Owen and Douglas. I'm beginning to think buying two companies loaded with touring talent wasn't the wisest decision lol

Started up a new save for a potential diary. American Championship Wrestling, owned and run by Triple H, alongside Shawn Michaels as his co-writer/booker. I'm into the third month and Triple H just stepped down from his duties as owner and booker and will be retiring on-screen in a month. Question now is, do I change the booking to fit the new head writer and owner, or do I press on with how I initially envisioned things running?

I downloaded an ‘87 scenario the other day, with the thought of maybe playing for the first time in about 5 years. It doesn’t seem to be as bad as many of the historical scenarios I used to see, but it still includes guys who wouldn’t debut for another 4 or 5 years, high stats for guys who would go on to be great were still green at the time, missing territories (usually Continental), etc.
It makes me wish I had finished the ‘86 scenario I was working on years ago, or at least backed up my data. I had gotten a ton of information on the territories, Japan, Mexico, relationship data from books and shoots, it was shaping up well and then life happened, for better and worse, and I stopped. That laptop has bitten the dust since then.
Maybe I should give it another go.

I signed 18-21 year olds Steve Austin, Owen Hart, Brian Pillman, Jushin Liger and Eddy Guerrero all with insanely inflated stats. All got to 100 over within a year. At least my Wrestlemania III world title feud was Bret Hart vs. Randy Savage!

I started putting together data tonight, starting with Jim Crockett Promotions’ roster. I’ve basically started with shows on January 1, 1986 and going forward. I’m not sure where I should cut things off yet. I’m including enhancement talent because while it may not be as “cool” as having Steve Austin, The Rock, and Kevin Nash in the game with main event stats, it’s more accurate and authentic, which is what I’m going for.
Wish me luck. It’s going to take a while.
