Or it may mean nothing at all. Just thought that would be something worth pointing out.

Or it may mean nothing at all. Just thought that would be something worth pointing out. The last WWE Mafia game in the Role PM's stated that you had to use certain phrases based on a character. Another thing to think about. I can almost guarantee there is a third party group in this game. Veronica has used them in the past and in a game this large it's almost a certainty.

I really have no idea how I'd hint towards who I am . On the subject of Day One lynches, I'm with Lodi in that we should only do them if we have concrete evidence. I believe, in the history of Mafia Games on FAN, only ONE Day One lynch has killed a mafioso (True Blood Mafia, I think). So with that in mind, I think that we need something to definitively go off of if we want to have a lynch.

Once in WWF Mafia, and once in Music Mafia 1.5.

So that's three instances. Regardless, we have to think about how much info we can get from a lynch rather than a no lynch.

Speaking for myself, I don't have a post requirement. But it's definitely possible that others do.
I don't buy people faking characters this early on. That seems like a bad idea, especially when right now there's no suspicion focused towards anyone really. That seems like a tactic suited more for they need to get the heat off of them.
For example in the last WWE Mafia game, the guy who turned out to be the vigilante (Great Khali) tried to claim he was JTG instead to make it look like he was innocent, but only after people started breathing down his neck.
Not to mention faking a character claim isn't really prudent at this point because no roles have even been hinted at based on character. The only time I think someone would think about that is when they think they're character is about to come under suspicion, as in the previous example.
Anyway, I won't be able to post too much today since I'm going to a concert tonight and thus I won't have access outside of my phone. But I'll be keeping an eye on things as best I can.

If one accesses their greater mental faculties, they will recall the Adolescent, Shelled Squamate Assassin game in which I was hypothesized on Day 1, though I received a single day's reprieve before truly being elected for execution, therefore revealing that I was in fact one of the murderers.

I recommend that we commit to lynching someone who fails to act by Monday. Discarding sandbags will bring a wave of clues to us all the more swiftly.

Edit By Way Of Post: It was not a game involving Squamates, but one involving Chelonians.
You're welcome.

Now, call me crazy, but I remember another time some psycho tried to use fireworks to take out a WWE superstar. This guy, handsome as he is, is probably slithering around backstage even as we speak, maybe even talking to the Authority about which one of us is next. Or at least to the voices in his head.
<3 Hope he doesn't bite me next <3

I have to disagree with lynching an inactive on Day one. If they're truly not contributing anything, we will only get modest info from those voted the inactive out. By lynching someone active there us more to look at in the way of their posts, who they interacted with, who voted against them, and why others choose to not vote for that particular person's lynch. TL;DR there is more to be gained lynching an active player rather than an inactive one. That's my view anyway.

I understand what you're saying and agree with your conclusion but still don't really believe its the right course of action. Inactive players suck. They let mafia slide by. They end up not being here in time for a lynch. And barring a special circumstance, mafia rarely care to get rid of these sort of players. When we have nothing to work on anyway, I'd much rather get rid of a player who has been relatively useless than someone that actually has said something relevant and helpful (even if it ends up providing a bit less info than if we got rid of an active player).

I do agree that inactive players are not the best but if they don't respond they will be modkilled or replaced but the ones who contribute very little to the conversation just post enough to stay in the game thats the kind of inactive we should be looking for as it states in my Iron Clad Contract.

Yeah, completely inactive players are usually replaced. I'm talking more about the "1 post per day phase" or "only show up on final day of day phase" inactives.

I don't know why but it feels important to note, not everyone had a post restriction last time around but it's a well known tactic to use a phony one to throw people off the trail. I think it's important that we look for anything that doesn't add up for the simple reasoning of anyone that's innocent has no reason to say anything but the truth while the guilty parties will try double talk and deception to get us at each other's throats. We should all have the understanding that any statement that could be considered less than 100% true should be treated as suspicious.

Since we are on the topic of inactive players: Let me remind you all that there ain't a million of us: Once your gone, your gone. Don't be afraid to contribute to the conversation. Things can get real quiet during these phases sometimes, and we don't want that, because if we let the thread pass by for even a day or two, it not only gives us less time to look for somebody, but it also puts more pressure on us to get something done, and when we're on a time crunch, the wrong decision can be made.
Don't be a hurter, be a helper: Share your thoughts and opinions, and help keep the conversation going.

One problem with that, and I'm sure you've been in enough games yourself to recognize this, there have been games where Mafia have intentionally gone after each other simply because it made them look good when the lynch went through. Not saying studying patterns isn't a bad move, but day one is practically negligible, simply because everyone's feeling things out - most importantly, scum doing their best to look as un-scummy as possible, including actively avoiding interaction with each other. Long story short: At this point in the game (speficially this point), an inactive or someone who contributes little to nothing would probably be a better lynch target than someone who is interacting.

My theory on Day 1 is that all mafia are active/semi-active. As are power roles.
I feel that a Day 1 lynch is valuable, too. Inactives hurt the game for town, so I want to target them... but then I think that leaves us open to mafia night killing our strongest assets because we were too focused on inactives.
A lynch today will be hard, but can be really rewarding (hi Lodi).

One thing i also noticed.Mafia usually tries to target previous "skilled" players. Not saying to not lynch a skilled player, but if we do and he turns innocent,it is somethign to keep in mind
