I was annoyed, but They obviously would rather Push This Total Divas BS Than you know, put effort in their most over diva. They spent two years putting "effort" into AJ. There are male wrestlers on the roster who wish they got a quarter of the effort WWE puts in AJ.

Now she needs the second half of the push to make her to a bigger star. Unfortunately their priorities are elsewhere. If they insisted on making Total Divas their main focus, then the logical thing would have been to make AJ part of the cast, since she's the Diva most likely to gain some measure of wider appeal, especially among a female audience.

A list of things AJ has done in 2012 and 2013 - The WWE had her as the central figure for a WWE title feud. - She put CM Punk and D-Bry through a table. - She was named Raw GM. - She was put in a relationship with John Cena. - She screwed Cena out of a win in the main event of TLC. Let me repeat that, a ppv ended with her costing Cena a match on purpose. - The 2 shows after that ended with her, Dolph, and Big E standing tall over Cena. - She humiliated Kaitlyn. - She made Kaitlyn tap out 3 times. - She cut on a promo on the Total Diva Divas, and they didn't get to respond at all. - She's won every big match she had against the Total Divas. Why does there have to be a second half of the push? I'd say she's gotten more than a full push. It's not bad to build up another Diva. And the push Total Divas has been getting is absolutely nothing compared to the push AJ has gotten.

It sucks, but the Total Divas era is upon us. Talent takes a backseat to being on a "hit" reality show and dating the top star in WWE. True, but they've been pushing The Bellas for a couple of years now. Regardless of Total Divas, The Bellas have always been one of managements favorites.

And the push Total Divas has been getting is absolutely nothing compared to the push AJ has gotten. Many of the things mentioned here were either integral parts of a single storyline (the first two), or detrimental to her anyway (being named GM, and her involvement with Cena). She didn't benefit that much from the pipebomb because she wasn't allowed to follow up on it either. Instead of running with the crowd support she got, WWE shoehorned her into the heel role against the wronged Total Divas. There has to be a second half of the push because otherwise she'll regress. Momentum has to be maintained. If they were pushing other Divas who connected with the audience like she has, it would be fine. But they aren't doing that. They are pushing people they've already damaged beyond repair like Nattie, or people who will NEVER get over as faces, like the Bellas.

Why can't people just accept that maybe, just maybe, the general viewing public/majority of marks voted for the Bellas because they are the faces, and it was a legit win? I bet if AJ had won, we wouldn't be hearing talk about how it was so obviously rigged etc. It would be all "SHE TOTALLY DESERVED TO WIN, SHE IS MY GODDESS. MOVE OVER CM PUNK, NEW BEST IN THE WORLD COMING THROUGH!"

"SHE TOTALLY DESERVED TO WIN, But AJ totally did deserve to win, and that is an indisputable fact. No other Diva could even touch her accomplishments this past year (kayfabe or not). Even if you're extremely biased against AJ, that almost has to seem obvious.

It's not like she's gone out and done tonnes for the image of the company and appeared on TV shows like Cena and the Miz have. Believe me, I'm not biased against her, I quite enjoy her when she isn't brought down to simply Skip->Smile in creepy way->Black Widow->Skip, but the fact the majority of her fanbase feel the need to paint her as some sort of martyr who's fighting back against the powers that be is laughable. Same thing happened with Mickie James, and no doubt it'll happen in the future. Also, little aside here I've just noticed, you complain about pushes because of dating top stars, remind me again, who's AJ dating?

AJ should have won Best Insult, but I KNEW Stephanie was winning that for some reason. Don't understand how, but I knew she would!
I sorta uderstand the Bella's winning though. It's all about Total Divas these days, and aside from Natalya they are the top face divas from that show.

I'd be willing to believe this if AJ wasn't getting huge babyface pops on a weekly basis ever since the feud with Total Divas started, in spite of her portrayal this entire year. Meanwhile, the Bellas just randomly became babyfaces at some point and it seems the casual fanbase is still confused by this, with reactions ranging from half hearted cheers to flat out Conway Pops. Seattle sure didn't seem pleased with the decision either, so it's not like it's just the hardcore FANbase that's displeased with this turn of events.

AJ is the diva that gets the most positive reaction from the crowds. When she's insulting the Total Divas, they pop. It would way less suspicious if it was Kaitlyn or even Natalya who won but The Bellas winning is a bit off to me. Then again, Rock/Cena won match of the year... So what the f*** does any of this mean anyway?

Why can't people just accept that maybe, just maybe, the general viewing public/majority of marks voted for the Bellas because they are the faces, and it was a legit win? Totally this. A casual look at the polls on WWE.com will tell you that the majority of the fanbase does actually vote for WWE's 'preferred' options. Occasionally they do fudge the results to fit the storyline at hand, but the popular opinion on this board or the IWC in general is rarely shared with the 'WWE Universe'.

Then why was the audience in such disagreement with some of those results (Divas and MoTY being the obvious ones)? It just makes no sense that if the Bellas were chosen as Diva of the Year that they immediately got booed offstage almost immediately.

I've been really surprised in the past week or so to see how seriously some people take the Slammys.

Unlikeable and obnoxious shitstains have become weirdly popular in the reality TV age, so its not entirely out of line that Total Divas fans will vote en masse for the Bellas.

I'd have rather seen Eva Marie win. One Bella Twin turned Ethiopian while the other turned a fat tub of lard.

A few thousand people in the audience vs. the likely hundreds of thousands who voted. Match of the Year won because it was Rock and Cena, not because it was a good match.
