Bravo for the very real comments, but there goes your WWE career, Bluff Speaker (Dewey Foley in NXT).

I'm not happy with this Royal Rumble at all. They chose to put over a guy who hasn't wrestled in maybe five years over one of their biggest up and coming stars (Reigns). Let's stop to think about this. Roman Reigns eliminated Ambrose and Rollins, and still got cheered. In the final 3 Sheamus got cheered when he hit Batista, but that's it. The only one that got the crowd to chant for them, and not for D-Bry or chanting "No" was Roman Reigns. The WWE made Reigns a bigger star with his 12 eliminations, but of course Batista won. Reigns wouldn't have been booed as the winner, he actually would have been cheered. You've got a guy who should become the face of the company, don't f*** it up. Like you've f***ed up with Bryan so far. Reigns was the only one to get the crowd to forget about Bryan, and get the crowd on his side. Let those 2 main event Wrestlemania 31, Bryan as champion vs Reigns. I say that, because 31 should be the crowning moment for Reigns.

I was actually really close to purchasing this PPV (it would have been my first). I'm glad I didn't know. I know they want to rub the part-timer but for me it feels wrong to use the Rumble for it. That should be something for a full timer, even if you screw them out of their Wrestlemania spot later.

I seem to recall a bunch of people a few weeks ago saying that Reigns winning would be an awful idea since he wasn't ready so hindsight's 20/20

I don't get it though, some people are complaining as if they didn't know Batista wasn't winning and as if you know who wasn't going to be in the match, when that was made obvious on Monday. I mean not necessarily complaining, but the extent of it I think it's a case of two things. The report that the odds went up on Daniel Bryan winning on that betting site, and the fact that there was the very VERY slim chance that the WWE would call an audible. Not that I can really even think of an audible that they've called lately. Hell, the second time this Daniel Bryan thing happened, he was only on the show for thirty seconds, when they could've had him come out during the Del Rio/Sheamus segment.

I don't usually watch WWE but watched the Rumble tonight and Batista is a great choice for winner of the Rumble. Even if Smark Central Pittsburgh doesn't think so.

THINGS WILL BE BETTER WHEN TRIPLE H IS IN CHARGE. As always, I throw in that Hunter has the title, Vince has the book. When Vince is no longer on this mortal plane and things are down to Trips and Steph alone I believe things will change. As long as the writers have to answer to him or his wife they will brown nose in the easiest way. Everybody tries to work into their bosses favor. When you're boss is an active competitor and his bestest buddies from his heydays come around regularly for a payday the simplest most effective thing to do is ride that easy ass kissing train. Not until every former Evolution/Clique/DX member is permanently medically unclearable to wrestle is any active competitor's spot safe from a derailing for brownie points.

Is anyone cheesed that WWE charged $60 for a PPV that had only 4 matches (5, I guess, if you count the pre-show tag team title match). Even December to Dismember 2006 had more matches than this show!

Nope, the Royal Rumble should always have around 4 to 5 matches including the Rumble, because the Rumble should go a long time.

Royal Rumble events are usually short on matches. On average they seem to have 5 not counting pre-shows, but the Bryan/Wyatt one was longer than typical, it seems.

Great performance by Reigns considering all that is happening with his brother right now.

Oh my God, Bryan Alvarez just went on this hilarious mini-rant about "John f***ing Cena and Randy f***ing Orton in 2013." He then made a point about how the people got Eddie Guerrero over to the point where Vince changed his mind about him. Maybe Vince is convinced that if he pushes Bryan, he'll suffer the same fate Eddie did. By not pushing him, he thinks he's saving Bryan's life.

No, but that's like getting your tax notice and freaking out about it heavily at that moment despite knowing it for a while.

Watching the replay. Batista was completely winded before the next entrant showed up.
Big E tossing huge dudes around was awesome though.

No, but that's like getting your tax notice and freaking out about it heavily at that moment despite knowing it for a while. Ya, but WWE is entertainment. They had to know how disastrous this would be received and could have called an audible or created a scenario to prevent the fallout they HAD to know was coming. People want to talk about everyone knowing Dave was going to win, and I agree. But by the same token, everyone knew and predicted that it would bomb and be viciously rejected. Nothing had to be in stone. If WWE was aware that in all likelihood their decision would be met with complete and utter contempt (and how could they not?), why go through with it anyway as is? That's why people are angry. The anger is coming from WWE ignoring them and being stubborn, right or wrong.

I've got the replay on as well and when JBL entered, there was a camera pan and showed a shirtless man in dress pants. Did Kane botch his timing or was he trying to sneak under the ring in the exact same thing as he wore in the Rumble match
