Was awesome seeing Aja Kong, Kyoko Inoue, and other Joshi stars get to wrestle for them. Loved Alundra Blayze and Bertha Faye.
Hakushi was badass.
Surviver Series 95 is my favorite WWF ppv of all time, perhaps my favorite show of the companies history.

I liked the lights and graphics they used for wrestlers' entrances at this time, i.e. razors for Razor Ramon, DiBiase on money, etc.

Waylon Mercy. Too bad injuries killed his push.

I know it has a bad rep, but there are quite a few matches from 1995 that I still enjoy today.
1/22/95 - Royal Rumble match 4/2/95 - Lawrence Taylor vs. Bam Bam Bigelow (WrestleMania XI) 7/23/95 - Shawn Michaels vs. Double J Jeff Jarrett (IYH 2: The Lumberjacks) 7/24/95 - Bret "Hit Man" Hart vs. Hakushi (RAW) 8/27/95 - The "1-2-3" Kid vs. Hakushi (SummerSlam) 8/27/95 - Ladder Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon (SummerSlam) 11/19/95 - Wild Card Match: Shawn Michaels, Ahmed Johnson, The British Bulldog & Sycho Sid vs. Razor Ramon, Owen Hart, Yokozuna & Dean Douglas (Survivor Series) 11/20/95 - Shawn Michaels vs. Owen Hart (RAW) 12/17/95 - Arkansas Hog Pen Match: Henry O. Godwinn vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley (IYH 5: Seasons Beatings)
Totally forgot: 9/24/95 - Bret "Hit Man" Hart vs. Jean Pierre Lafitte (IYH 3: Triple Header)
Awesome match.

Shawn Michaels on commentary. Highly stupid, highly entertaining job by HBK.
I was also a big fan of Mable, Diesel, SID & Ahmed Johnson. I had AWESOME taste as a child.

Mostly I remember 1995 because that was the year the free PPV gravy train ended. My grandma could get them, at full price and it was a f***ing chore back then, it wasn't click "Buy" on the screen. You had to go rent a box from the cable company, put down a deposit, hook the damn thing up and then order it. What I remember most is her having me over to watch Rumble 95, Mania 11 and SummerSlam 1994 at her place and her buying them for me. She wasn't a fan or anything. Yeah, those events suck, but, that's what I remember about them and why they're important to me anyway.

Reading match results from thehistoryofwwe.com trying to come up with reasons, I found this gem I could not pass up:
WWF @ Struthers, OH - High School - June 5, 1995 (1,450; sell out) Monday Night RAW taping Bob Holly pinned Chris Benoit
I don't ever recall a man being able to face himself!

I also dug the 1995 survivor series Came here to post this. I mean there was even some joshi action on the card! While the card has it's share of Wrestlecrap, the main event more than makes up for everything else. Bret Hart is arguably the best in-ring performer of all time and this is probably my favorite match of his.

I got the VHS of the show around the time it first came out so this is one of the Rumbles I've watched the most (if not the one I was more than any other). It has a bad rep because the time of the rumble was cut down and the rumble was filled bad gimmicks and others you'd never expect to have a shot at winning the thing. Still, the shorter time works in it's favor as does the fact that the only two people fans could buy as winners Shawn Michaels and Bulldo stay in the whole match. Okay maybe Luger and Owen could have worked as winners too, but Luger was falling down the card by that point and an Owen/Diesel WM Main Event didn't make much sense.

WWF 1995 brings back so many great memories. It was during my high school junior/senior years and I fondly remember watching WWF programming regularly on Saturday mornings. Wrestlers like Hakushi, a young Goldust, Tekno Team 2000, Barry Horowitz, Mankind, Money Inc, and the Allied Powers always put a smile on my face when I think about them.

I'm with you, only a little bit younger, I was still in elementary school. I never thought WWF was 'crappy' or anything like that. I'd watch every episode of Raw, Superstars, even WWF Mania! Good stuff, for real.
