Dear eBay sellers,
It's my gimmick, if you want one do what I did and have Vince McMahon create one for you dammit!
If he's just going after people selling fake merch I don't think anyone can hold that against him. It'd be different if he was stopping little Johnny from selling his 1989 WWF warrior figure

He's going after unlicensed and counterfeit merchandise. If it was released through the WWF/E it was licensed, and he really couldn't do a damn thing about that.

It may sound like he's being petty, but I can't blame Warrior for defending his trademarks after all he went through to get them.

Yeah I think I chose my words poorly, I just meant without the WWF run I doubt there'd be much call for just Dingo Warrior merch. Still agee with yourself and the poster above. If someone is trying to gain a few bucks selling illegal goods using his trademark then well entitled to go after them. God help the saps who try to take it to court is all I say ha

He should go after that One Warrior Nation goof next. I think he already tried but OWN qualifies as a parody so he can keep the gimmick. It's been quite some time I heard the story but it seems like Warrior wanted to shut down a PWS show because of them booking OWN and then they found a "loophole" and said that OWN was a parody and therefore not gimmick infringement. At least that's what Pat Buck, the owner of PWS said.

PWS used OWN in such a way that it was a direct parody of Warrior and therefore qualified to be protected under free speech. But, let's say somebody on the indies has a gimmick of (And this is just off the top of my head) "The Ultimate Gore-ior" lampooning Al Gore with the Warrior's mannerisms, since that wouldn't directly be parodying the Ultimate Warrior it wouldn't be protected as it would be using copyrighted material in order to satirize something/someone else. It's confusing, but it's the law.

One of the fake Warriors (maybe OWN) even has a similar Warrior tattoo on his upper arm. About 10 years ago there was an autograph signing or indy show that was featuring some famous wrestlers and OWN was scheduled to appear and posted online making it seem as he would be the biggest star there. Sounds like he taught Brimstone or Brimstone taught him the way.

I really wish I had a gif of when Warrior was smoking a cigar on the way to the ring, I think it was. It just made him look like a villain.

Warrior is a money hungry twat and always has been. What's wrong with not wanting others to leech off his name and fame? It's not like he gets any profits from stopping these, counterfeit, sales.

Warrior is a money hungry twat and always has been. So is Hogan, but I'm sure you'd paint that as a good thing were he going after eBay sellers that were making money from counterfeit merchandise... Seriously though, there are a lot of things to criticise Warrior for, but to call him a tw*t for being in it for the money like it's a bad thing is ridiculous. He's one of the few people that wrestling hasn't chewed up and spat out, he made his money and left repeatedly before outstaying his welcome, unlike some of his peers, and he now lives a comfortable life with his family, selling his own merch because he fought for the gimmick he created and won.

Warrior has made a ton of money, has a big house, money in the bank and if need be could probably take a cushy WWE contract or work the indies for 5 grand a pop. Going after people making 10-20 bucks from merchandise which is allegedly counterfeit (I can't see much counterfeit stuff on eBay) just reeks of the guy being a money hungry douche bag who wants (needs?) every penny he can get from his fans. He should be doing more constructive things with his time. Warrior is a money hungry twat and always has been. I don't understand why you are trying to bait me into a fight but if Hogan did the exact same thing I'd make the exact same comments because I'm not really a biased guy at all. Thankfully Hogan doesn't really care what's happening on eBay because if he did I'd lose a lot of respect for him. There is a difference between being in it for the money and being a money hungry dude who still wants to get thousands of dollars from the fans well into retirement. Chasing after people who are selling legitimate merchandise (Nothing I saw from a quick search is counterfeit to my knowledge) is just so incredibly lame and silly. This guy is meant to be one of the most popular wrestlers of all time and he's chasing after people making a few bucks off his name on eBay? The guy is an idiot, he didn't fight for the gimmick he changed his name to "Warrior" like a fool because he wanted to make more money from the fans but didn't want to play ball with McMahon and the WWE.

If he's just going after people selling fake merch I don't think anyone can hold that against him. It'd be different if he was stopping little Johnny from selling his 1989 WWF warrior figure But that's also an issue- Warrior stopping people from selling fake merch is reasonable- but there is a good chance that Warrior could ALSO be stopping Little Johnny from selling his 1989 Warrior figure for the same reason (Warrior regularly sells WWF-produced Warrior merchandise on his accounts at obscene markups- albeit autographed, but he has asked for $500 for a signed WWF-produced Legends WWF Warrior figure before.) So, Little Johnny could also be stopped from doing it as well under the same argument. (It gets worse when you count how website algorithms have gone too far anyway and can be blanketed- so not only could Warrior stop Little Johnny from selling his WWF action figure, but he could theoretically go after and stop Joe Shmoe who never cared about wrestling, but just wants to sell his Playstation 2 with 7 games: Madden 2004, SOCOM, Ultimate Spider-Man, NHL 2003, SSX, The Warriors, and Dead or Alive 2- solely because his algorithm would say he was selling "...ULTIMATE....WARRIOR....."

Exactly. I didn't see any counterfeit merchandise on eBay so Warrior most definitely is stopping Little Johnny from selling his 1989 WWF Warrior figure or is attempting to at least. He's doing it so he can sell his stuff for a lot more. Hence the "Warrior is a money hungry twat" comment I made.

He should be doing more constructive things with his time. Whut? So what if he's made big money. There's nothing that that says he doesn't want to make more, and if people are willing to pay, more power to him. Noone's being forced to buy, y'know. As for how he wants to make money, that's his business and his alone. I didn't see any counterfeit merchandise on eBay so Warrior most definitely is stopping Little Johnny from selling his 1989 WWF Warrior figure or is attempting to at least. I didn't see any either after a quick glance, but I did see over 1400 listings, so he doesn't appear to be. Besides, he can't actually stop anyone from selling their own possessions, or a business selling legit merchendise, so I'm wondering where the actual proof him doing so is. Oh, yeah, that's right. There isn't any.
