They are going to reveal that this film is actually just JLA at some point.
It isn't Batman vs Superman at all, that's just cover up for this being a JLA film.

This might be the Waterworld of comic book films.

So are we just getting a live-action Justice League: War now? I'm not opposed to that, but this all seems so rushed.

I've given up on Superman
I saw Man of Steel the other day, and my god, it was utter shite.
It's so bad it makes Superman Returns look good by comparison.

As do I, Man of Steel rules. Right up there with the first two Reeve films easily. Talked that to death though.
On topic, I'm still holding my optimism.. but this.. every piece of news I get a lil more apprehensive.

The best Batman ever is the last person to question it? Right Keaton was not the best Batman. Bale was better, Kilmer and Clooney were comparable. Bale being better was debatable, but it's at least an argument I can see. Kilmer and Clooney aren't even in the conversation. Keaton and Bale are 1 and 1a, and you can place em in whichever order, and there's a huge gulf between them and the other two.

Clooney wasn't as good a Batman but I loved his Bruce Wayne, his natural pimpness just shined through. Batman and Robin blew but it wasn't Clooney. As a thespian I thought Keaton did a good job but I always felt he was just too Joe Shmoe to be Batman or Bruce Wayne. I thought Kilmer was nothing special but solid. IMO Bale was hands-down the best. He is the best actor and fits the role most physically. At least we agree on Man of Steel, I just don't understand the heat it gets. It's one of my top 5 comic-based flicks ever.

I am not a fan of Man of Steel. I think it's well-made, but soulless. I've felt that way about every Zack Snyder film I've seen. I just feel nothing for the characters in all of his movies.

I think that maybe these "extra" characters will have much smaller roles than we think. LIES! The movie is obviously going to be every character in the DC Universe looks directly at the camera, says their name, their powers, their likes and dislikes, and then walks away. Everyone from the Creeper to the Golden Age Red Tornado gets a turn. 2 full hours. Roll credits.

Bale was the best cast Batman who ended up delivering the worst Batman performance. That growly shit completely kills the aura of Batman in those films. Keaton nailed the calm, cold Batman demeanor, which is why I'll always say he's better than Bale. Don't care if he's 5'9 and has velcro hair. Bale's Batman sucked. Fantastic as Bruce Wayne, though.

BOO-YAH
I don't know anything about Ray Fisher, but he kinda looks like how I imagined Cyborg would look like in real life

For one, they just did it as an animated movie, and even Warner has to know that their animated movies destroy their live action ones. Also, nothing from the New 52, a Justice League movie should be fun like The Avengers.

I know the growl bugged others, but while I think he overdid it a bit it didn't really bug me or affect my character perception. None of the Bruce Waynes/Batmen completely nailed it for various reasons, but Bale was the closest to my expectations.

They did try to tackle the Green Lantern's origin story live-action style after the animation department already nailed it with both Green Lantern: First Flight and Justice League: The New Frontier. I'd like to hope they learned their lesson, but you never know.

The Avengers had strong elements of the Ultimate line, yet the characters weren't a bunch of miserable assholes as they were in the books. They can keep the New 52 origins and aesthetic without using the awful personalities.

Seems like a hybrid of the Tumbler and the traditional Batmobile. I can dig it.
