Please check my edit; I'm not saying that literally nobody on the face of the Earth believes the Broncos can do it, and I realize that might be how I'm coming across. However, the mindset that Denver hasn't been questioned and everybody says that they're going to blow out their opponents is equally as ridiculous. Perfectly sane; just passionate. Like I said, I started watching in '05, so my Bronco watching years started with disappointment and it's been disappointment for years and years. I'm just ridiculously excited, brother. It's understandable to a point. But theres no group of analysts or others who think Denver doesn't stand a chance. I don't think they do, and as a Pats fan I also said Denver would win today. I could play the easy game and say "OMG A CLOSE ONE" but it's just the way I feel. BTW, 9 years of disapointment is laughable. As a Boston fan who started watching sports in 1987 I had a good 15 years of loserville hell before any wins. Fair enough. All I'm saying is people will come up with reasons why Denver won't win, just like people will come up with reasons why Seattle won't win. That's all. I'm not up for comparing who's suffered more as a fan, either. The Broncos have sucked until the past few years and this one feels good right now.

ap_NFL: First Super Bowl since 1991 with team that scored the most points in the regular season vs. the team that allowed the fewest.

Good enough to win and I don't see that changing. And pretty good the first three quarters to atrocious the in the fourth quarter. They looked weak and beatable when they should have been putting teams away. Seattle just looks like they're playing a tougher, harder game. Kind of ironic since Seattle has done the same thing in the last couple games in terms of falling apart in the 4th.

I saw it somewhere else and it's absolutely true; the same people dogging Sherman are probably the same people who complain that Goodell is making the game too soft. He's a passionate competitor and he spoke his mind. Get over it.

The Broncos have had it A LOT better than a majority of the league over the past decade plus. Consider yourself lucky.

Going into the playoffs, I thought the Seahawks were the team to beat. I still consider them the favorite, though I will be rooting for Denver.

Only tangentially related, but given WWE's seesaw following of popular culture, I can't say for certain if Booker T won't be cutting an inexplicable Richard Sherman promo on Raw tomorrow.
As for the SB, Manning has had issues in the fourth quarter before, but he just seems too focused and too precise this year to make much of a dent against.

People have lost their damn mind Do anything about what? If people would look past OMG ANGRY BLACK MAN WTF and actually look at what he said ... what? He didn't trash the Niners organization, their coach (the one he hates), the entire team, their fans, fans choosing against them in the game, the NFL, didn't curse, didn't reference drugs or crime or whatever, didn't mock Bowman or anyone else who got hurt, didn't even mock the 49ers for losing the game either. He talked trash about the one man he was covering and going back and forth with the entire game. Someone who btw is fine with talking all kinds of shit on his own. People actually want him fined or suspended for trash talk about someone who trashed talked him right back for three hours. Oh, okay. People are f***ing nuts.

Reading the deadspin stuff they just put up on Sherman you would think people wouldn't be like that no more #noracismintented Brilliant. "Gary Whitta @garywhitta 41m @petermooreea Amen. Sherman was a disgrace, I would be mortified if I had kids watching that. Will the NFL do anything? Of course not." People have lost their damn mind I spoke out of turn. THIS IS BRILLIANT! This is the kind of sanctimonious, hand wringing bullshit that would make MLB HoF voters blush. Men using their body to attack other men at speeds in excess of 20 MPH: A-OK. A player high on adrenaline celebrating victory over a guy whose clearly had some words for him: OH GOD PLEASE WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN! Please Papa Goodell, save us from these wretched heathens who have the gall, THE GALL, to act like they're humans with emotions.

GUYS, WE'RE MISSING THE BIG PICTURE HERE.
Unless I'm wrong, this is the first time that two teams that were once in the same division will be facing each other in the big one.
That's pretty f***ing awesome.

In 2010-2011, Seattle and Denver won divisions without a winning record.
For a couple of years, the West Divisions were the worst in football.
We've come so, so far.

Who did Seattle move conferences for anyway, was it when the Texans were created, I'm not remembering.

I just don't see why people hate on Sherman when they are much more worse human beings who play professional sports currently playing.

I just don't see why people hate on Sherman when they are much more worse human beings who play professional sports currently playing. Just because they're worse human being playing sports does not mean people can't criticize somebody for something they disagree with. For example, I know that Kobe Bryant is a rapist piece of shit and I hate him for it. However, his existence doesn't negate the fact that I also don't like Chris Paul and his flopping. They're two completely different circumstances.
