Isn't it reported that he was signed like every few weeks or so and nothing comes of it?

He needs to make his debut holding a bag of cash and running down a gangplank of a cruise ship.

Fare thee well Kenny King, there's not room enough in Dixieland for two brothers.

MVP must be traveling by foot from Japan (swimming? /stereotype non swimmer joke). I remember over a year ago he said that he'll be back on US TV soon.

I think if they were going to drop this kind of money on a relatively big former WWE Star they should have gone with Chris Masters or John Hennigan.
Never seen MVP's appeal.

Not a bad signing if it's true: a guy with talent who never really took off in WWE, which means the audience won't likely have solidified notions about him when he debuts.
As others have said, these are the types of "WWE castoff" signings that actually make sense for TNA; even if someone like MVP isn't exactly a kid anymore, he's still "TV young" and could easily be repackaged or presented differently from his WWE character without much in the way of problems.

So MVP's in the Rumble then, right?

I'm actually glad he hasn't signed with TNA. I need to hear a full, clear version of VIP Ballin', and WWE probably won't ever release the song unless he comes back.

If TNA were dying, they wouldn't sign MVP to a contract. I hope this puts to rest the rumors of TNA's demise.
