If it was his choice that gave rise to DickPorting BullyRay then I look forward to what else is in store because I would have rather have wacky off the walls TNA then TNA trying to be WWE. I would bet just about anything that evil Bully Ray wearing all black, teleporting, and threatening to set everyone on fire is indeed Russo's handiwork.

He needs to have a team of hired goons, a la 3 Minute Warning, that he uses exclusively for interfering in main event matches at the last minute. He could get Matt Morgan and Samoa Joe and call them the Swerve. why has he never thought of that?

Russo is the Richard Burton to TNA's Elizabeth Taylor. The only difference? Good things came out of Burton and Taylor's f***ed up relationships. Joke 2- Johnson Ritter: Sir, there's something you need to see. Commander Gilmour: Good God. He's back! Johnson Ritter: In many ways, Vince Russo never left, sir. TNA's always offered the same nonsensical storylines at barely competitive ratings. Commander Gilmour: Shut up!

Perhaps, Russo is behind these new gimmicks for guys like Sam Shaw. Remember fanites there is one thing Russo is good at and that is building gimmicks that jive with the wrestler associated to.

I am genuinely interested in TNA for the moment.
No Jeff Hardy No Sting No Hogan No Aces and Eights Budget cutter lurking in the back
And some interesting things happening with The Wolves debuting , mystery investor and MVPs rumored debut.
Never thought I would genuinely be interested in anything TNA does outside of the comedic value they provide me.

Dixie's loyalty to this dude can NOT be just regular old loyalty, or Dixie's naivety.
Russo must be hung like a horse or a tongue artist.
What? People assume that kind of shit about women who keep their job undeservedly.

If TNA is gonna die, then let the Bizarro Lorne Michaels lead it to it's demise. The final episode of Impact should have everybody gathered in a room for a goodbye party as a drunken Sting locks everybody in and slurs about "Undertaker WrestleMania 27" as he pours gasoline and threatens to burn the building down. Triple H shows up to save Magnus, Bully Raw, Bobby Roode, and Aries. The final image is Bad Influence drinking one last Appletini as we fade to black. The Daniels/Styles/Joe match from 2005 as we see this as the final image: I salute you. This is the first time I've laughed out loud in months. That being said, I always have a soft spot for what Vince Russo tries to do. His intentions are often well-meaning and his best ideas are often pretty solid. He can create moments well. He just has no idea how to connect those moments in a way that actually makes them great.

I was a diehard WCW fan until the very end. I defended it and always kept an optimistic attitude toward the direction the company was going shortly before it closed.
I....have never been more apathetic toward a wrestling company in my life. Lately, every bit of news can be summed up with that Sting GIF.

And TNA's journey into becoming WCW without the period of huge success begins its final chapter.
A young upstart company with hokey gimmicks, but fresh talent and athletic performers. Next was the hiring of most any WWE guy they could afford. Then Hogan & the reign of the heel factions. Now Russo again.

This is why when people ask, "why would you want to see TNA die?" I respond with, "because I want all those guys & gals who lose their jobs to find work in a promotion that rises from TNA's ashes that isn't stupid beyond belief."

An entire company summed up in one gif. And for the topic at hand, if he's the "investor": HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

It makes a lot of sense. Everything about TNA right now screams Vince Russo.
With Hogan/Bischoff and Jarrett gone, it wouldn't surprise me if Russo has full power now. He is the only "cook in the kitchen", or at least the one Dixie seems to value the most.
You have to hand it to Dixie. No one can ever accuse her of not being loyal, even if she is wrong.
