I don't see the point of this picture. It doesn't mean anything. It's a silent GIF and that's it. A better idea would be to use a YouTube vid. Well, when a lot of world champions come out, people stand or move even the slightest. That is a British crowd though. They are more refined. The like to queue and never grumble about people cutting it. They drink tea and pimms and frown on the brash and impolite. Even soccer crowds are quiet for the most part, they call Arsenals stadium the Library because there is hardly any noise there.

I still don't think Del Rio is charisma-less. Del Rio isn't charisma-less. His booking just is so repetitive that people are tired of it.

He is a great wrestler, arguably the best in the company. His booking is problematic though. The worst thing that could happen in this fued is the raw before the payperveiw he beats Kofi or Dolph while the announcer gush about how agressive he is. He then loses to Batasita. He then beats either Kofi or Dolph the next night on Raw while refusing to let go of the armbar after the match.

The thing that got me was Batista was trying to reason with Del Rio at the start. That's not what a big douchey musclehead should be doing. Just try to kick the guy's ass. Amazingly reasonable even. Del Rio had to clock him one just to get a rise out of him. And I expected Batista to jump right up after the first punch, but he just laid there and took it for a while. I almost want Dave to win the title at wrestlemania just because he literally came in and said he would do it, and that's it.

What's odd is that, despite being billed as some unstoppable beast and Del Rio as some privileged snob, Del Rio really looked like he could kick Batista's ass last night.

Did anyone else think that Del Rio stiffed Batista with that first punch? Also listen for the hilarious sound Batista makes while taking that punch.

I'm just gonna leave this here. I don't see the point of this picture. It doesn't mean anything. It's a silent GIF and that's it. A better idea would be to use a YouTube vid. That's where you got mistaken dude, this is actually a GIF with sound. Can't you hear the exploding silence of Del Rio's entrance?

I love Del Rio. He is such a classic heel. The problem with him is that he doesn't fit in as a cool heel, so the crowd reaction for him can be very bland. He out shined old Dave in that segment, though.

Maybe they're trying to use Del Rio to get people to cheer Batista? Kind of a "Okay who's more hated than Batista? Miz? Del Rio? Curtis Axel maybe?"
But Del Rio's also a complete snoozefest, so the whole feud is hated douchebag vs guy everyone is apathetic towards.

I'm surprised that the way Batista left in 2010 hasn't been discussed more in terms of why he's getting crapped on. That whole Cena feud and the way he was thoroughly buried on his way out of the company can't help but leave a lasting impression. This guy was last seen whining about losing a Last Man Standing match via duct tape, and then ranted and raved while in a wheelchair before quitting the company (after losing an I Quit match). That's the way Chris Jericho is booked as a heel on his way out, not someone like Batista who isn't anywhere near as bulletproof.

I don`t mind. if there`s one way to get the fans back on face Batista's side it's to have him beat the tar out of the one guy nobody wants to see. I just hope the feud's as one-sided as possible.

Del Rio got the upper hand on Batista or am I misreading some posts in here?
If so then it may be true that the writers have been working to turn planned storylines upside down. Maybe...probably not...

Maybe...probably not... Nah, he jumped Batista and beat him down for a bit, then Batista jumped up, hit the spinebuster, and when he tried for the Batista Bomb Alberto took off running.

I am laughing that at the end of the segment there were Si chants... not deafening chants by any stretch... but still... people were cheering Del Rio over Batista...
That is amazing...

I thought the sentiment of the promo was weird:
Del Rio: I'm here twice a week, wrestling and winning championships - you just waltz in and think you're top dog around here?
Batista: Yo man, I don't have a problem with you.
Del Rio: WAKE UP DUMMY! I'M SAYING I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOU!!! REACT!! RESPOND!!
Like the only way to get Batista over as a face is to basically have him play the Cena card.

It's like a shitty version of the Rock vs. Cena feud in 2012 where it's even harder to tell who the face is.
