Well, the trend of the last six month continues. Raw averaged 4,211,000 viewers, down half a million from last week. The usual hour one>hour 2> hour 3 continues. Hour 1 was 4,428,000 Hour 2 was 4,221,000 Hour 3 was 3.983.000 So the average dropped by half a million, but the 1/20/14 loss of 1 million viewers between start and finish didn't get topped. pwinsider.com/article/83345/raw-audience-drops-by-half-a-million-viewers.html?p=1

| Viewership | Compared to Last Week | Overall | 4,211,000 | Down 500k | Hour 1 | 4,428,000 | Down 400K | Hour 2 | 4,221,000 | Down 600k | Hour 3 | 3,983,000 | Down 800K |
EDIT: On the Batista/Bryan debate: Batista had 1 hype package and 3 coming soon graphics for his promo which was half way into hour 2. The main event had the opening segment and one graphic.

Also 600,000 fewer viewers than the same Raw last year (which didn't have anything "special" on it either). What happened to all those viewers that Batista supposedly was responsible for and that many used to justify his push? Could it be they tuned in for his return, weren't impressed, and stopped watching? Nah, couldn't be...

I pretty much had Raw running in the background the whole time.
Nothing really caught my interest enough to get me to really pay attention.

I think its continuing where people are just giving up on WWE. To paraphrase what RD Reynolds and Bryan Alvarez said, when things go downhill, nothing seems to work.

The rating should fall between a 2.9 and 3.2.

Daniel Bryan = rating poison Let's push HHH, the guy does the best scores every week on the first hour

I think the consistent massive drop between the first and third hours doesn't say anything about the performers involved, but rather just that no one can stomach WWE's shit for three hours every week.

How did they do this time last year? Be interested to compare with that data. Anyway, I hope the play-by-play comes soon so we can find out how Bryan did in the overrun. I really hope his match with Orton did well.

| Viewership | Compared to 1/28/13 | Overall | 4,810,000 | Down 200k | Hour 1 | 4,863,000 | Even | Hour 2 | 4,857,000 | Down 400K | Hour 3 | 4,711,000 | Down 200K |
The 1/28/13 show that this followed did over 5 million viewers overall, 5 million in hour 2 (which was the top hour) and featured the Rock's first night as WWE Champion in over a decade.

I really hope his match with Orton did well. 2/4/2013 (Compared to the Previous Week) Overall: 4,810,000 (Down 200k) Hour 1: 4,863,000 (Even) Hour 2: 4,857,000 (Down 400K) Hour 3: 4,711,000 (Down 200K) The 1/28/13 show that this followed did over 5 million and featured the Rock's first night as WWE Champion in over a decade. Alright then. So it's down from last year. Still not quite the steep drop some people thought it would be because of the Rumble backlash. The real test will be the next four weeks so we can see how they do before and after the Chamber.
