So cheesy and hilarious.
If that's what he's going for, Kudos.

He sounds quite a bit like early Mankind in his vocals there

But it's coming off as a pretentious film maker's idea of a horror movie. My 6 year old cousin cried after the Willow promo and my sixteen year old cousin hid behind a pillow and she's a horror buff. Jeff must be doing something right on some level. I thought it was hilariously f***ed up and not all that scary but the horror is getting across, somehow.

You know, credit where it's due, I've watched the first Willow promo three times now and I purposefully went looking for the second. I've never went out of my way to watch anything to do with Hardy in TNA except his drugged up match with Sting.
I'm interested. Good for him.

I'm not getting horror vibes from him. He's just quoting his Prog Rock lyrics and passing it off as promo. Him doing his Itchweed character is more scary than this. The voice mod is not definitely not enhancing the character.

The character is f***ing freaky as hell, as in what the hell am I watching. I can easily picture kids and teens being upset by Willow.

If this was NXT, everyone in the Full Sail crowd would get a tattoo of Willow. Not sure how it will translate to a regular crowd.

I'd imagine you'd have to have to be quite weak-willed or a small child to be scared of this.
To me it's reading like one of those characters where the people who play along will go "Oh this guy's a freak", and everyone else will be apathetic.
Less frightening and more unsettling to the less jaded audience.

I love the utterly pathetic fall to the ground towards the end of the first video. Just been replaying that bit and laughing. Couldn't care less otherwise.

I actually do care but I have to agree, that half arsed fall down is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. He looks like an idiot, especially when you can see it's voluntary and he just flops like a tit.

Watching this makes me wonder just what level of cheesy his live promos will be.

Probably not high praise, but my favorite Willow vignette ever tonight.
Has anyone come around on it? I think it might be sort of interesting.

This weeks vignette was the funniest one yet. Can't wait for this to make it to live arenas.

But it's coming off as a pretentious film maker's idea of a horror movie. Executive producer Eli Roth is deeply offended by this comment! (/Eli Roth criticism for the day) I'm actually enjoying these vignettes, I'm not sure if it's because a non-Hardy Jeff Hardy may be cool to rejuvenate him or if it's because it just feels a bit out there that is convincing me it'll be fun. I really did like suited up heel Jeff Hardy so any time he goes for something new I have hope.
