I've seen rumors that Stewart may retire.
Granted it's just a rumor so far.

I've seen rumors that Stewart may retire. Granted it's just a rumor so far. I've been expecting it since the accident happened. Really expect him to take on a schedule like Michael Waltrip has where he runs the 500 and Indy at the most but until any legal issues are solved that probably won't even happen.

Jeff Gordon wins at Michigan. That means at least one driver will get in The Chase via points.

Yeah, I'm reading now that the article was a hoax. But yeah, he may want to take some time off for a bit to clear his head.

I'm a Harvick fan first and foremost, but Gordon showing that he can still get it done, aging gracefully into the grand veteran, he's been an absolute joy to watch this year.

Max Verstappen will be replacing Jean-Eric Vergne at Toro Rosso in 2015.

Max Verstappen will be replacing Jean-Eric Vergne at Toro Rosso in 2015. The noteworthy thing to mention is... He'll only be 17 years old when he makes his race debut, making him the sport's youngest ever driver by a considerable margin.

On the other extreme, 32-year-old Andre Lotterer (who tested for Jaguar at the beginning of the LAST DECADE) will make his debut at Spa for Caterham in place of Kobayashi.

Tony Stewart will not be participating at Bristol. Jeff Burton will drive the 14 yet again.

So Sam Hornish will be on the commentary team for the IndyCar race at Sonoma this weekend.
As an aside, I really want to see him racing in IndyCar again.

Another F1 switcheroo among the lower teams... Alexander Rossi will make his race debut for Marussia in place of Max Chilton at Belgium.

I'm too lazy to look it up, but are Chilton and Kobayashi done with their respective teams or are they just giving these young guys a try-out to perhaps secure a seat for next season?
