There's nobody more fitting. As long as we don't get a 20 minute monologue to open I'm perfectly fine with this.

Hopefully he goes away forever after WM. Yeah, I hope for years we get more shows where almost nobody gets a reaction, that's the ideal.

They've added him to the main roster page.

I'm hella stoked, wow. Hulkamaniac for life. Even the dudes and brothers who are hating on this now, even in this very thread, are going to mark like little babies when Real American hits. It's inevitable. And I welcome it.

What are we supposed to do, be forced to be entertained by people based on chronological order of their birth certificate?

Why does Wrestlemania need a guest host anyway? Why can't the guest host concept just die? It's Wrestlemania, not a throwaway episode of Saturday Night Live.

ugh. Not jeering for Hogan, but more for the guest host concept. I stand firm that Mania 27 is one of the worst of all time (only 11 and 13 are worse imo.) and the guest host had a lot to do with it. 20 minute opening promo and such.

I still like Hulk and it's always awesome to see him come out to 'Real American' for a hot WWE crowd after years away and while I don't really have a problem with him as a guest host, he's already had his victory lap(s) in the WWE and his TNA run was downright brutal. The shine is off of Hulk a good bit these days. I'll always be a Hulkamaniac out of sheer nostalgia and I know that he isn't going to be having any matches or anything, but it's just a 'meh' for me at this point.

Why must WWE sign TNA rejects?

Yeah, I hope for years that no one gets the chance to get over with the audience because WWE is stuck in the past. With or without Hogan, Rock, or Batista, WWE is doing a piss poor job at getting people over enough to warrant reactions. The ones that do get over they don't push at all. Hogan's going to be over regardless of how WWE books him, so if he can fire up the crowd for all the other wrestlers who the crowd sits on their hands for, then more power to him.

If anything, Hogan will be far less detrimental to the current roster because he can't go. He's in such bad shape that a match would be out of the question, so he's not going to be taking main events or title shots away from anyone. That being said, I'm really beginning to wonder if they're going to try and use him to salvage Orton/Batista. It still won't work.
