Mania was a success on the Network for me Same here. I had some problems early on, but it turned out to be a problem with my Wi-Fi and after unplugging the router and plugging it back in it worked great the rest of the night.

HE DIDNT HAVE A STREAK HE LOST TO THE COLONS... IF HE IS COUNTING THE IC MATCH HE HAS TO COUNT THAT MATCH. That is all.

I still need to watch the show from the beginning, but it just didn't feel like it was worthy of being Mania XXX even with Bryan getting his big win. Could no one come out and chase Trips off? Shield? Hogan, Austin and Rock? Shawn Michaels? Ziggler, Miz and Ryder? You're telling me no one had Bryan's back when the shit hit the fan? That's why I can't wait for the Authority angle to die a horrible death. Foley got more backup when the McMahon-Helmsley regime fired his ass. The whole point of the story though is that no one in charge believed Bryan could do it, so Bryan HAD to do it all on his own for it to mean anything.

By the way, is this the longest thread in forum history? The Benoit Tragedy. That was so intense the admins closed down the forum for a while, didn't they?

By the way, is this the longest thread in forum history? Nope. The Chicago Raw thread hit 292 pages. And in past years a mod would lock a 'Mania thread and start a fresh one so combining the two might produce a high number. I realized something just now: WWE didn't do its usual announcement about the attendance figure during the show. I'm assuming that's because the Superdome can't hold as many people as a more modern stadium can, so they don't want to go from saying 80,000 people attended WM to "only" 75,000 did so.

1. On Undertaker, I knew it had to end but damn from what you all were saying Brock manhandled Undertaker and Taker could never get his groove in this match. I said on facebook, and heard it echoed here but I'll say it again "Most Shocking WWE Moment EVER!" In a year of you never seen it coming add this to the list of things. Not really, it was pretty back-and-forth. The big thing that made Taker look bad was just that the match was incredibly slow and sloppy. For an example, even doing the Last Ride out of the corner (as in with an assist) he could barely do it and it was incredibly awkward with hardly any impact.

So who's excited for WrestleMania play button next year? seriously what a stupid logo for 31 Totally agree. When WWE ran the ad for the following year's show I was like, "They're REALLY going with that logo? That's the official one? Seriously?" No number, no elements of the host city. Just ... blech.

It got overshadowed by Taker, obviously, but man, **** the ending to Cena/Wyatt. What a goddamn waste. It made sense from a storytelling standpoint but Cena is just so, so utterly uninteresting as a protagonist. To borrow a line from SEAN CARLESS, ****ing stubborn WWE assholes. I did find it pretty weird. It just didn't fit the story being told - I get they wanted to do something where Cena refused to cross the line, but they should have either done something where he tricked Bray into thinking he was doing that then just finished him off clean instead, or where he started to, hesitated, and got caught with Sister Abigail for the loss. Granted, the feud's most likely continuing, that match left too much unresolved.

Good show. Bray should have won I feel, and the Brock Taker match was pretty boring besides the finish, but overall it was solid.

I hope Bray gets a Joker like delight out of finding an incorruptible foe like Cena to mess with.

Granted, the feud's most likely continuing, that match left too much unresolved. It was WWE wanting to have things both ways. They wanted Cena to have an existential crisis but then also beat Wyatt without compromising his morals, which would be satisfying in a way if Cena was at all, remotely, a compelling character. Hopefully it's setting up for a Wyatt win at Extreme Rules, although he really could have used a win at a big event like 'Mania to establish him as a top heel.

I enjoyed it overall. I thought Bryan's matches were great. I wish Taker would have retired with the streak intact. It seems like there were 31 wrestlers in the battle royal.

Wow. I was a few hours behind and just finished. I'm still somewhat speechless. Outside of the Streak match this was the best Mania in years. That Streak match though...dog shit and not because Brock won. On that, I had heard the rumors, even seen them here, that Taker was damn near ordering them to let Brock end the Streak but never thought it'd happen.
