Did they ever announce the attendance numbers? Apparently it was 75,167. Wasn't mentioned on the show, though.

I am rewatching the moments I remember from this show and I've realized something.
This show in pure technical wrestling terms was less than the Raws around the start of January. The wrestling wasn't bad, but it wasn't refined and it didn't feel like it flowed...
And I realize that was the point. Outside of Cena/Wyatt every single match was the passing of the power from the old guard to the new, and even then, Wyatt having thousands swaying with him, singing, decisively proving that they side with Wyatt over Cena...
From 'Taker wearily battling only to be vanquished by a stronger, more determined, better athlete in Brock Lesnar, to Cesaro taking out the respected veteran who's been a continual presence for 15 years, to Daniel Bryan overcoming every single person who was aligned with the WWE pushed old guard avatar Triple H...
Despite the older generation trying to slow it all down they couldn't drain the energy from the younger and brighter shining stars, and they lost, the older generation has been lost to time and diminishing ability.
Every match had moments of pure greatness and interest, even the Divas match, and whilst that may not have had the emotional connection of old guard/new stars (due to the underwritten and underconsidered womens wrestling division), I think everyone at the pay per view put their best to give the PPV a clear message...the old guys can't cut it any more.
Maybe it's all just coincidence but it sure as hell didn't feel like it. From the first match where Triple H tried to NWA tire out the greatest wrestler in the world (in kayfabe and in many people's opinions) only to not be able to control the match when adrenaline took control of Bryan, to The Shield outsmarting & intimidating the Outlaws enough to crush them, to Cesaro imitating a Hogan slam to Andre but in a more impressive way.
Beautiful, by coincidence or design, completely beautiful.
This Wrestlemania will flourish & be seen better as time passes us by, I won't be forgetting 'Taker losing, nor will I forget the rise of a wrestling hero in Daniel Bryan. For all the forced nonsense of the phrase 'Wrestlemania moment', there are two relatively organic ones that stand out and they were wonderful.
It feels like my childhood being splattered over a crime scene, the noise from the audience as they realized what had happened, the sheer despair and shock, something that ALL wrestling fans have seemingly lost over the years. I realized a person I idolized and who was solely represented in this modern era by his streak was...less, gone, worn away. I am 24. 'Taker was a fiction consistent enough to feel familiar to my generation in day to day life...we may post about wrestlers obviously stepping away but I didn't expect it from 'Taker, not this year...and then Bryan brought light to it all, you can't just mourn the loss of the era before you, you have to stand out on your own terms and get to where you want to be.
This Wrestlemania was great.

I loved the opening of the show. I confess to being a Hulkamaniac, so obviously I loved it when Hogan came out. But for Steve Austin and the Rock come out as well? That was one epic opening for the 30th Wrestlemania! (Also, you gotta love how Hogan accidentally said WWF).
I think the first match sucked the energy out of the New Orleans crowd. I've been annoyed with HHH during his heyday as much as the next guy, but I've always felt he deserved a little bit of that success he's enjoyed (not a full half decade, two years of it maybe). I lost it when Daniel Bryan kicked out of the pedigree, last I checked nobody was allowed to do that in forever.
The Shield vs. Kane and the New Age Outlaws seemed to be over before it even started. My friends thought it was a Tornado Tag match for a second, it was pure chaos.
Kofi Kingston once again proved why even though he's never going to win a battle royal, he's still going to be the reason you watch. I wanted Big Show to win the match, but I can't say I wasn't impressed by the display Cesaro slamming him.
John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt was actually my second favorite match of the evening. The story seemed to be really good. The pacing was slow, but methodical. You gotta love an encounter of ultimate good vs. ultimate evil.
Lesnar vs. Taker was slow paced, but not in a good way. I'm in the minority here, but I wasn't even that shocked when Taker lost. Yes, I was little shocked but the match was so horrible that I was like "FINALLY". I really hate to say it but the Undertaker's age has caught up to him. He needs to retire if he's going to come in and stink up the place like that. The match was so boring that I was playing with the cat the whole match.
Then we had Mean Gene Oakerland interviewing Hulk Hogan, who was interrupted by "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. They cut promos on each other, and the Mr. T came in. To say I was marking out to this, would not do my reaction justice.
The Divas' match on Wrestlemania has a history of being the Bathroom break, but this one had some decent talent outside of one person this year. I didn't suck.
By the way, did all the commentators save for JBL shoot up on Xanax before the show, they've been absolutely dead up until this point.
Finally we have the main event. What can I say other than this has been the best Wrestlemania main event in a while.

Its rumored Brock changed script. LOL This isn't Anchorman where Veronica Corningstone can run in and change the teleprompter. People need to accept the fact that Taker is more than likely done and wanted to put Lesnar over.

Its rumored Brock changed script. Rumors are stupid. While it may not be in writing, Undertaker has to approve anything he's asked to do. This is what Undertaker wanted to do. He wanted to give the Streak to Brock. Reportedly, Undertaker offered this to Brock privately back when Brock was in UFC.

And it's probably why Brock has had zero problem jobbing to Cena and everybody else since his return; he knew this was on its way.

Who was the blonde woman with the little girl who hugged Bryan at the end? Forrest Wife and Daughter...or sister and Niece... Most likely Forrest Wife.

The more and more I think about the streak ending with Brock, the more I like it. This gives unlimited ammunition for anything Heyman does in the forseeable future - "I was the one that guided the steak into the heart of The Undertaker."
Hopefully this gives unimaginable heat to Lesnar and doesn't just produce heaping amounts of apathy. It's going to be really strange seeing Undertaker in the ring at 'Mania again if he's not calling it a career.

I hated the Taker/Brock match. And I'm not talking about the finish. Such a slow & boring match.
