This Daniel Bryan guy (Bryan Danielson) needs to get off my TV ASAP. He's just another manufactured fad like CM Punk (Phil Brooks), and guess what? I didn't like it then and I don't like it now.
You can all watch and enjoy Randy Orton (Randall Orton) and John Cena (John Cena) all you want - I'm way more into Japanese Puro (purofesshonaru resuringu, or プロフェッショナル・レスリング) right now, that's where it's at. Fans should be sitting on their hands and be respectfully QUIET during matches, not chant these sing-a-long phrases and what not. Plus it's not really a 5 star match until you get at LEAST 10 finishers busted out.
I'm looking forward to the next big thing, and sadly, it's not WWE. They won't be getting any money or any viewership from me any time soon. TNA (Tits N Ass wrestling) seems pretty good, though - they really seem to be taking a chance on some young guys like Samoa Joe and MVP.

Incorrect - there are some Joshi (female Japanese pro wrestlers for those not "in the know") who are acceptable wrestlers. Not great, but they can provide an acceptable cool-down period between better matches. However WWE? Just a bikini model factory thanks to John Laurinaitis (Johnny Ace). Even beloved smark darlings like Paige (Saraya Bevis) are far too good looking to be good pro wrestlers. It's a biologic fact that you cannot be good looking and also be good at something else. That is why the best wrestlers of all time (The Iron Shiek (حسین خسرو علی وزیری) and Andre the Giant (André René Roussimoff )) were not traditionally good looking. |

I can't believe you guys are still talking about mainstream wrestling. I only watch Delta Fighting Spirit Championship Grappling Arts Excelsior (DFSCGAE) which showcases the most obscure and therefore most talented independent wrestlers in the world. They only run shows every fifth Wednesday in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with the occasional Thursday card if it's the night of a waning gibbous moon. They have of course shunned the obsolete iPPV format in favor of posting live commentary on Reddit.
You probably haven't heard of them.
