What are your favorite one-hit wonders?
One of my favorites is "Barely Breathing" by Duncan Sheik. He now writes for Broadway musicals such as "Spring Awakening."

I liked the song well enough, but it was a song featured in my wedding. It therefore has extra meaning to me and always makes me feel good things.

Although Im guessing its about a gay mans desire for a straight man I find it catchy as hell.

I decided to do a search to see if there are any other one hit wonders that I missed (like the White Town song) and came across these two videos.
First, this person had way too much time on their hands to compile a list of 100 one hit wonders. Second, I think that they stretched the definition of "hit" to call many of them "one hit wonders". Thirdly, several of those listed don't qualify as one hit wonders (sadly enough, the lovely Liz Phair is not one of them). Still, I decided to post these videos because it is so easy to forget most one hit wonders.
Also, why in the hell did they use a Disney edit of Lou Bega's one hit to put in this video? Let the guy have some dignity, man!

Same reason I wouldn't put Soul Asylums Runaway Train. It was their only huge hit but far from their only.
but I think this qualifies

Let the guy have some dignity, man! He put in S Club 7, but did not put in "S Club Party". lol what? Also a few of those bands had more than one hit. How does someone take the time to put together that list/videos, yet make so many mistakes?? :S

God, I remember that video! I was about to ask how you remembered such an obscure video but then remembered that the only reason anyone on the FAN remembers the following videos is because I actually remember them and post them from time to time:

How can no one bother to post Bill Paxton's first big shot at stardom?
Fun fact, part of the band is actor Bill Mumy (of Lost in Space and Babylon 5 fame).

I'm as confused as the girls in my sig: how does Liz Phair having three hits = a one-hit wonder?
Supernova (off of "Whip-Smart"), Why Can't I? and Extraordinary (from "whitechocolatespaceegg").
Enemies have been made, my friends.
