He can say what he wants about Punk, but if he doesn't think Cena is a wrestling mega-star then he's an idiot. All that nonsense about anyone being able to become huge with the same push is so outlandish. How many super-pushes have we seen fail over the years? Cena is the real deal.

IMO, there's one massive difference between everyone he listed (sans Goldberg, only because he wasn't really around long enough):
Each one of those characters has had something fresh happen to their character.
Rock went from overpushed midcard face to NoD heel to The Rock. Even the character of The Rock went through changes. Sting went from bleached blonde face to Crow tweener. Austin (like Hogan before him) was such a force that he didn't have to change.
Cena is stale. His character has been the same generally since the end of rappin' Cena. I think the problem with Cena is that there is nowhere to go with him but heel, like WCW Hogan.
As far as CM Punk goes. Since I don't know his true weight, I have to go with the 216 listed. That's 9 lbs less than Michaels and Punk is an inch taller. The 'small' argument only seems to apply to wrestlers someone doesn't like. And seriously, as Bryan has shown, no one gives a f*** about weight.

A random FAN board user probably has a better mind for the business than Buff The Stuff. He had the ins and outs of the business down pat: if you need to get something, just have your parents complain to the promoter.

But what does Buff Bagwell think about the economy? And the turmoil in Ukraine? He thinks Ukraine is weak, feeble. He thinks they're a road apple, and it's time to put the hurt on Ukraine.

I wouldn't even put stock in anything Buff has to say involving wrestling with a broken freakin' neck.

But what does Buff Bagwell think about the economy? And the turmoil in Ukraine? Well the inflation rate isn't buff, so that's why the unemployment rate in the short term isn't the stuff. As for the turmoil in Ukraine, one call to his mom can stop it.

A random FAN board user would also know that when Pat Patterson is talking to you about wrestling, you listen, show respect, and don't f***ing interrupt him. But we aren't talking about Pat Patterson! We are talking about Buff "The Giggalo" Bagwell and his opinion. I'll admit when he was in WCW I was a fan of Buff but I was 12-13 years old as well so Taste. Buff has been out the game for so long that his opinion really ain't worth a s*** or even if that. Just stick to what you know, Buff and By the way... it ain't wrestling anymore it's screwing women for money.

Can we just start calling him Patrice? That would be an insult to Patrice O'Neal.

Buff needs to join NXT as one of the trainers and show everyone how to have a bad match on TV. It's could help them out alot.

I don't know, the views in this thread that sex work is somehow less legitimate work than... what, exactly, are far more silly than anything Bagwell has said.

Sad that I can point out via the area codes that this is around my neck of the woods. Welp, I know what I'm doing this weekend.

After reading the title and clicking on it I have decided that I don't care what Bagwell thinks. I post on this forum once in a while to try to stick to other posters without offering my own opinions.

Really? For all the things you can level at Buff Bagwell, WCW's downfall is hardly one of them. There was only 1 WCW Nitro Match ever on RAW and he was 1/2 of it so I say yes I can. And you really think there was any intention of keeping a WCW brand? WCW had already fallen from greatness by the time it was on RAW. Blame WCW management and stats for the demise. Not Bagwell.

What are Scotty Riggs' thoughts on Cena and Punk? On John Cena - "Every single match is the same, and it is sickening. Five simple moves every match. When it is time for Cena's comeback it is the same moves, boom, boom, boom. That does not suspend any disbelief. That is what wrestlers are supposed to do, have the craft to anywhere in the match a finish can come up. "Cena has mixed himself with the Super Cena thing, which is what Vince McMahon has a hard on for, he is a good guy that is so good that it is sickening. That is why so many people don't like him. Cena is WWE's cash cow. When I am watching Cena I feel like I am watching a TV commercial. Everything he is doing, he is selling cereal, he is selling t-shirts, he is selling something in everything he does."
