Before she won a contest to become a Nitro Girl and later Miss Hancock in WCW. Stacy Keibler was a Baltimore Ravens cheerleader at age 18.

Gorgeous George was behind what may be the first wrestling wedding; he wed his fiancee Betty at a show, and it proved such a hit, they repeated the ceremony at several shows. He also spearheaded one of the first wrestling-themed restaurants - Gorgeous George's Ringside Restaurant.

Sort of Stacy trivia: She has said part of why she dated David Flair is because most of the people hitting on her were much older than her, and that in addition, David was respectful and wasn't just trying to get laid. So, I guess that paints a pretty rough picture of the backstage environment for her there, horndogs and foxy grandpas.

I dont think they found Stacy as a fan in the crowd, I think she genuinely tried out because her boyfriend at the time was a fan. She was seen in the crowd at Starcrade 1998, she didnt do the Nitro Girl search until September 1999.

Shockingly, this is the third time the WWE Title has been defended in a 1 on 1 match, but the first including two full time active roster members CM Punk vs The Rock The Miz vs Jerry Lawler Would have been better if Rollins defended against Jericho or RVD, then. Crap, I forgot Lawler got his shot at EC.

My memory is hazy, but I think Torrie debuted as Samantha and was like a mysterious woman who seduced David Flair into joining the NWO. I think it was a bad attempt to have a soap opera type storyline to lure viewers away from what the WWF was doing at the time.

Since his debut, so far, 2015 is the only year Sting has not won a match.

At WCW’s Sin PPV in 2001, Haku became the last WCW Hardcore champion. Exactly 1 week later he would appear at WWE’s Royal Rumble PPV.

Funny story - when he took off, he gave the title to Barbarian to take back to WCW. Barbarian allegedly kept it and "defended" it on indie shows after he too left WCW.

Correct - Meng only made three appearances on Thunder in 2001, his last being as Hardcore champ; Barbarian didn't make a single appearance on the show that year. Somehow, the whole fake thing is still on the Wiki entry for Barbarian.

At WrestleMania 19, Stone Cold had “OMR” on his jacket which stood for One More Round.

Since his debut, so far, 2015 is the only year Sting has not won a match. Fortunately for him, he's yet to be attacked by any of his friends so far this year, so that's a massive improvement.

Even crazier, Hall and Nash had to first turn on HHH. So not only is 2015 the first year in history where no one turns on Sting, it's also the first where someone turns on the guy feuding with Sting . I imagine that's more exciting for him than any title win, feud or match he had in his career.
