If he did sign, who knows at this point, but if he did...tonight's RAW in Birmingham would probably be the a great place for him to debut. Atlanta would be the best, but Birmingham would give him a great reaction as well.

They need Kevin Nash to show up in Crow gear and the announcers can't seem to figure out that the real Sting isn't 7 feet tall.

Am I the only one who hopes he doesn't sign it?
What could Sting possibly add to the WWE in 2014? It's not like he has Hogan level of nostalgia to bring.
The only thing I'd like to see Sting do is come in and get the shit kicked out of him by someone like Bray Wyatt or Cesaro

They want him so they can use his image for shirts, toys, video games, and more. He is especially valuable thanks to the network; having him under contract will help WWE make maximum use out of the WCW and NWA footage they have on archive. Besides which, Sting is a major name from an important period in wrestling history, and many people working in WWE now have worked with him in the past and would probably want to see him get his due and set his legacy in stone.

No offense to TNA partisans, but the part of Sting's career that WWE's target nostalgia audience would be much more interested in would be Sting's JCP/WCW run, which WWE owns. Even if he doesn't wrestle in WWE, it's smart business to want to do business with the company that owns the part of your work and legacy that most fans actually give a damn about.

To be fair we need to see Sting vs. Flair again. It must be a couple of years since they last wrestled each other? I was under the impression that reality will fold in on itself if they don't tussle on a regular basis. Rumour has it that they were neighbours during Flair's WWE run from 2002 > 2008: They often used to lock up over the garden fence. Flair would blade and Sting's garden gnome would turn heel on him......

That said, I like Sting and hope he does whatever's best for his bank account and his legacy.

We could be witnessing a first: Sting turning on someone Now that you mention it, forget about Taker, I want Sting to debut as all round nice guy all American Hero Sting, then turn on Cena. Bonus points if they do something totally hokey pro-wrestling style, like when Cena is seeing Bray in mirrors Crow Sting (in a Hawaiian shirt, please, please, please.) appears behind Wyatt, menacingly. "Follow the buzzards, but beware The Crow" DEP

According to Lords of Pain, the WWE were confiscating Sting signs last night.
Why in the hell? If it's not overly offensive, why do it?

I guessed they missed that 'I love Sting' sign held up behind the announcer's table and caught straight on camera.
Unless security assumed the kid was just a big fan of The Police.
(Disclaimer: this thread must contain at least one reference a day to the 'other' Sting or else the forum will melt forever).

Isn't wwe retiring signs, one of the most easy yet hard to prove smark bait to post on news site?
Not saying that they never do that, but some of times it's seems more like a easy thing to add content to your website

He was set on fire and shot in the face.
