Sting would be an idiot not to sign it, the WWE already owns the part of his career that is worth a damn.

If Sting has any holdups right now, its probably because the streak is over and he wanted to be a part of it. He can still face Taker without it in the way, though....

SIGN THE PAPER, KID. MAKE YOURSELF FAMOUS.
Also, take over the GM role so Brad Maddox can begin his rise to superstardom.

It would probably require return to a more significant brand split to truly work, but I think the idea of Sting as GM on one show and Hogan as GM on the other would be kinda cool.

I wonder what Meltzer and co. are going to write about when Sting finally signs.

Is this Sting thing becoming the new Sid thing? Like, every week Sting has signed, then Sting hasn't signed yet, then Sting has signed. It reminds me so much of every year Sid is returning to WWE. In about 5 years Sting will randomly show up on an old school Raw, just once and never be seen again.

Haha, I would laugh my ass if this deal didn't go through.
At this point, the only deal I want Sting to agree to is a DVD and the HOF.
No matches, no continued onscreen character...enough is enough.

I'm not sure what I want more; the brand split back or Sting/Hogan to not be GMs. I guess I'll live with them as GMs if the brand split would be brought back.

I wonder what Meltzer and co. are going to write about when Sting finally signs. "As of right now, we don't know if Sting has chosen the Mexican or Italian dinner entree. Our inside sources indicated that Sting was leaning towards enchiladas, but then changed his mind to the lasagna rolls. We're told that he was very very close to agreeing to the lasagna rolls, but told the waiter to come back in 10 minutes. We'll keep you posted as this decision draws near."

I really don't want to see Sting. He doesn't bring much to the table. It'd be cool to see him in a WWE ring I guess, but whats he gonna do? He sucks now.

I hope that Vince sent hornswoggle to hand the contract, so while Sting is deciding to sign the thing, hornswoggle will chant "Spin the Wheel Make the Deal"

Sting should just retire. Why would the WWE be interested in a 55-year-old man who hasn't looked very great for the past several months? IF he does get signed for a wrestling role, then he better swallow his pride and get rid of that goddamn t-shirt look.

Sting should just retire. Why would the WWE be interested in a 55-year-old man who hasn't looked very great for the past several months? Because he's one of the biggest stars of all-time and Vince McMahon didn't have a single hand in creating him. I hope they sign him just for the potential Sting documentary/blu-ray set.
