"We're pushing Wade Barrett? Guess we don't need the English guys down in NXT. Fire everyone on this list." "But Mason Ryan isn't Engl-" "EVERYONE."

Why release two talented British guys!? Grey and Burch were great in the British indy scene and Grey was a much, much better promo cutter than Neville and had a really good WWE look. What the f*** do WWE want from it's talents?!

I am finding it pretty difficult to find any of these to be any great loss.

So basically they just fired the entire UK minus Neville? WWE is like McDonalds. They don't want variety. They already have a Filet o'fish on the menu, so no need for more fish products when the Big Cena and Quarter Batista are all they *really* care about. Hell, Daniel Bryan is the Shamrock Shake. He outlived his usefulness to them in March. I kid.

Kind of surprising about Raquel Diaz, since she had just been re-hired. The others released are not surprising.
I hope Enzo, LeFort, and Big Cass are safe.

It's similar with wrestling styles as well: "No thanks, Ricochet. We already have Adrian Neville."

It's worth noting WWE.com did not move Mason Ryan over to the Alumni section like they did with Ezekiel Jackson or Maxine. Jackson did hold a singles title, though. Maxine's only main roster involvment was in multi-Divas segments. Mason was in New Nexus and "won" a Raw interactive poll, though only due to technical errors.

Primo and Epico has do with who they are related to than their ethnicity. WWE likes to be able to tour Puerto Rico safely.

I think that's why Yoshi was brought in though. WWE likes to have at least one person of every nationally whenever possible, which is great and progressive. But then the insensitive gimmicks or just plain not using them is less so. With Primo and especially since Epico showed up, I think it's a bit of both. They definitely see them as more 'Puerto Rico!' than they did with Carlito, who always had his own gimmick.

I don't know how visa stuff works, but I wonder if all of those UK guys were up for visa renewal and WWE didn't have any ideas for them, so they just didn't want to bother going to any trouble keeping them in the US. But like I said I don't know how that works, so that may sound stupid.

Funny thing is Mason Ryan has a pinfall victory over Rusev from NXT, it's on youtube. You would think they'd keep him around one more month so Rusev could get his payback in dominant fashion.

Shame about Oliver Grey. Always like to see a local guy make it. They do still have Stuart Tomlinson on the books, so there's at least one Brit still about.

In regards to Oliver Grey, what f***ed him honestly was getting injured, which is a shame. It really sends a bad message to guys in NXT. Get injured, f*** you. How dare you work for our company and get injured. I guess what's really sad for all three guys here is they're all Brits, and they can't go on the american indies and be indy stars like everyone else released from NXT because they don't have green cards anymore. The same happened with DJ Gabriel/Steve Lewington, who I thought had a lot of talent, but was strapped with a bad dancing gimmick. I'm not sure of the British and European wrestling scene, I just know a lot of Brits always want to come to the States because well, that's where WWE and TNA are. Though, I guess they can go the Japan route like Prince Devitt. Being fair, that may not be as big a problem for the British workers, depending on their own status. Chris Gray and Tommy Taylor were both British workers signed to developmental deals, got released from the deal, and are still running around the Florida independent scene, {Spoiler}{Spoiler}...and if Kenneth Cameron can be signed by TNA after what got him fired then any of the British workers could manage to keep working in the US.
