You don't go back on something like that. It's about as memorable as things get and would just come off really stupid trying to pretend it didn't happen.
Live crowds would shit on it until WWE gave up.

If they must erase a win from the records at Wrestlemania, erase Miz they're already erasing Miz in general. Can we just let him have this?

Should they do it? Of course not.
Would they do it? Absolutely.

I appreciate the intention behind your idea, but that's just a terrible, terrible idea. It does absolutely nothing for nobody.
1. The WMXXX moment--one of what is undoubtedly in the top 10 most important moments in wrestling of the last decade--is tainted forever. 2. Brock looks like a chump for having his victory retconned. 3. Undertaker looks desperate for having to win this way to justify it. 4. The whole company looks stupid for taking a huge plunge and then deciding the water is too cold. 5. Most importantly, what if WWE decides Taker should lose the Streak again, for really real this time? Taker would look 10x worse than he does right now, having fought hard to regain this and then just losing it again in the matter of what would probably be a couple of years. Also, the guy who beats the Streak a second time always has to live in the shadow of his Streak "breaking" being a joke.
I genuinely feel like this would be one of the worst WWE angles of all time, up there with Katie Vick and the Invasion for how profoundly misguided and poorly put-together it would be. But like others have said, there's always the chance WWE could try this.

I think that if all of Penn State's wins for the last however many years can be retroactively expunged, WWE could do the same.
When is Vince scheduled to hear about that?

Didn't this exact thread get made like a month ago?
It was an awful idea then as well by the way.

Nope, however I am anticipating his next WM match being about the most impressive winning ratio in All of sports entertainment.
The Undertaker's legendary Ratio.
And next year a young upstart will dare to challenge for a chance to slightly lower his Ratio.

I think it is certainly an interesting idea and a creative way to have it done if such a thing were to be done, but I don't think there is any way to "save" the streak without crapping on pretty much everybody.
I think the best they could do is have Taker come out and say he's starting a new streak, one soul at a time. Leave it at that and go from there.

Vince McMahon comes out on Raw, tells us Lesnar winning "was all a dream". Cue 22-0 graphic on the video screen.
What could anyone possibly find wrong about that?

Do it on an episode with celebrity host Patrick Duffy and I think its pretty much gold! They then give a guy a gimmick of having his van parked on the entrance ramp. He doesn't drive out in it, it is immobile and he lives in there, and depends on the ring crew to move it from city to city.

That's a worse idea than anything my dad's said regarding the Streak since we started leaving the Superdome, and he's still convinced that Vince broke the Streak because he was forced to put over Daniel Bryan, with no evidence or reason other than "That's the kind of bullshit political game Vince plays" and "Vince sits in a board room and decides all the matches."

I kinda feel the need to clarify this. I don't *want* WWE to do this. I think that the way the Streak ended was all different kinds of awesome. But this is the company that gave us the Gooker, Vince McMahon World Champion, Alberto del Rio's Wheel of Agression, Donald Trump: Non-comedic foil, and tried very hard for Batista: WWE World Heavyweight Champion. So do you think they WOULD do it. Cue Ian Malcolm.

Nobody would benefit from this, it makes everyone involved look ridiculous except maybe Brock. The streak is broken, you can't un-break it.
