Let's say that WWE, for whatever reason, decided that having Paul Heyman's client, Brock Lesnar, end the Undertaker's undefeated streak at Wrestlemania wasn't "best for business". That ship has sailed, right? Brock pinned Taker, clean as a sheet in an ugly, ugly match in front of millions live, on PPV and on the WWE Network.
Maybe Taker has committed to working at least a few more Manias, and they figure the Streak is a good selling point.
Maybe Vince just learned what a retcon is and wants to try it.
Maybe a million things.
How about if Brock's not getting the appreciation Heyman thinks he deserves for ending the Undertaker's streak. So Paul says that, better than simply ENDING the streak, Lesnar is going to DESTROY the Streak. One more match at Wrestlemania. If Taker wins, his loss at WMXXX is stricken from the record books. But if Lesnar wins, ALL of the Undertaker's wins are stricken from said books.
Taker wins, becoming 22-0. Lesnar's "win" is expunged, and rather than being the ONE in Twenty-one and ONE, he's an asterisk.
I know WWE COULD do that. But WOULD they ever do something like it?

Nah, it honestly feels like the streak ended so that any future matches he may have are not full-gone conclusions.

The streaks over man... even if they try something like that... it just won't be the same.

That's such a bad idea I wouldn't be surprised if it actually happened.
The Streak is over. You can't rewrite history and pretend it never happened.

You can't rewrite history and pretend it never happened. In WWE?

I loved that the streak ended, btw. It was completely out of left field. I *never* saw it coming. And it cemented Mania XXX as one of the most important shows *ever*. Thinking back, Brock was the perfect guy to end it. It made sense...and I STILL didn't see it coming.
But every time I see Kane (my all time favorite) do *anything*, I wonder just how far into parts unknown WWE is willing to go.
Hope it doesn't happen. Wouldn't be *completely* surprised if it did.

I've felt that they were going to do this since it happened. Doesn't mean they are, but I figure that they'll either do that exact thing or that Taker's going to get his win back next year and retire.
They won't go as far as erasing the win from the records, but Taker is probably going to get his win back.

If they must erase a win from the records at Wrestlemania, erase Miz

No because even if the WWE were stupid enough to do it they would never stop getting ridiculed for it.

Even if they did attempt to erase the loss, what would be the point? Undertaker's career is winding down for sure and The Streak wouldn't do anything for a retired guy anyway.

Not to get too off topic, but has WWE ever whitewashed something that significant? Even Biker Taker is acknowledged.

Who is still listed on all of their title histories and all programs on the WWE network. They don't talk about him but they don't act like he doesn't exist.
