Dude is so way overdue for a heel turn he will probably get the biggest babyface pops if he turned heel. The more heelish things he does the bigger the pops he will get.Hell I bet if Cena cut a promo against the make a wish kids, a loud long Cena chant will happen shortly after.

WWE see no benefit in doing it. It's probably not worth it just to win over men, when they make shitloads of money catering to the kids. It also begs the question of whether Cena even wants to be a heel or change his character in any significant way. Can't blame him for sticking with what makes him a mint.

I imagine his detractors cheering him because heel. It'd kind of eliminate the point. His cheer/boo ratio would stay the same, only flipped between fanbases.

At this rate it'll only happen if someone can beat him in wweshop and make a wish stuff.

Cena will be grey and likely missing an arm by the time they can safely turn him heel, he'd get heat by having a worse STF then ever.

Daniel Bryan &/or Shield is getting beat down Cena comes out to help but hits Bryan/Shield member with the Attitude adjustment then joins in with the rest in the beating.
Next week on RAW have him cut a Bret Hart circa 1997 style promo about people loving the "Bad guys" instead of me, Include digs at the various charities for maximum effect.
It's simple & cliche but I think it'll work. Shield/Bryan are the most loved people right now

I'd rather they just start having him wrestle more faces.
He's at his best in face/face feuds imo.

There's never going to be a significant change to John Cena's character, ever. I've accepted it, and all the ball jokes and bad photoshops that come with it.

I used to think "sure, eventually" then I started thinking "maybe way later like Hogan" now I more think "I just don't think either the WWE or Cena himself have any real desire to do so ever" and I've kind of just come to accept him for what he is.
In a way he already is a heel to a certain segment of the crowd and is often booked SUPER effective in that role. His corny jokes and catch phrases are thrown at the darlings of adult men occasionally and he is fed to them in a manner that will cause tension and eventually great satisfaction (i.e. RVD, Punk, Wyatt...).
So with that all in mind I personally have somewhat recently come to enjoy him and his work a HELL of a lot better.

Being a heel is more than getting booed, it's playing the bad guy role in stories. And yeah, he'll turn eventually; everyone does.

Yes it's possible. Fans that hate Cena aren't going to turn on a dime and cheer him over their favorites if he goes heel. Je's just got to wrestle babyfaces that people actuually like.

Clash, shut the fu......huh? Oh. Um....s...stop talking about your butt? But seriously, I'm just gonna take the easy way out here. Did anyone think a Hulk Hogan heel turn was even possible? No. Look how that went.

Junkyard Dog didn't(to my knowledge) Hogan did. And thats the only name worth comparing this to. And yes of course its possible. Depending on how long Cena stays in the business, eventually he is going to get old. The kids that are his fans now will grow out of him. It happens to virtually every top guy in the business unless they are like Rock and Stone Cold and leave early or are forced out early. He will need to revitalize his career at some point. The way to do that is a heel turn.
