Seems a bit of a stretch to compare that to a Brandon Hantz incident. From what I saw it was just a threat of fisticuffs, some swearing, and that old "yadda yadda yadda" hand gesture.

Can't blame Rocker here personally. He figured out that she lied to him after he said he had her back, and on the re-vote he did what I think most people this early in the game would have done. She was leaving regardless.
Val's game play left a bit to be desired in this episode to say the least.

I now consider myself a fan of Julie. Not John, just Julie. And, yes, it's why you would think. Those glorious peanut butter muffins she carries around with her.

I don't think Rocker did anything wrong at all. He tried to protect her, but she actively ruined her own game. Just two episodes of downright bad gameplay from Val. Quite frankly the only thing she had going for her was her Boston Strong t-shirt. And now in trying to blow up Rocker's game for revenge, he's going to end up hurting himself more than anything. He's going to look like a reactionary, vengeful, hothead. Rocker's almost certainly going to be the rage quitter, but people expect him to blow up, but now Jeremy's flaming out too. The only way its a positive is if they love him for taking on a bully. But the second blue loses and Jeremy starts pitching to boot Julie, he looks like a bad guy too.
When Baylor got hit in the face in that challenge, who else hoped/assumed she was faking it to get her mom to drop guard and then bullrush her? She got hit and started whining IMMEDIATELY. Gosh that was a disappointment when it turned out she was just a whiner. Really bad episode for her altogether, and I'm moving her further away from "potential winner" status. Going to drop Jon a rung as well. He's still got hope, but he's goofier than I realized.
So Josh is still my pick to win, but Reed's up there as well. Also I think Kelley is now in the discussion based on how they sold her after winning the Immunity Challenge.

I actually have a new theory on who the quitter is based on something my brother showed me. I'll spoiler it. It is just our own theory and it doesn't connect to any rumors/theories that have been floating around elsewhere. But we believe that the quitter will be

On the one hand, I understand Val feeling that her back was up against the wall and needing to bluff as hard as she did early on, but it probably would have behooved her to let John in on the fact that she didn't have an idol.
As for John flipping on her during the second vote, I don't blame him, really. He did all he could for her.

Damn I picked Val/Baylor as my females for this season and they got all the votes last episode. Batting 1000 so far! Val was so not ready to outwit/outlast/outplay it wasn't even funny, I guess I should learn not to believe contestants when they talk a good game about being 'a competitor' on the first episode. Still don't know what she was thinking would happen by lying about having two idols, especially when Rocker let her in on the exact plan of splitting votes-- as in YOU WILL BE VOTED FOR ELIMINATION-- so how in the blue hell did she not just come clean right there about the idol bluff??
smh. Natural selection of Survivor contestants I guess, I hope Baylor was using crocodile tears with her mom, seems like it worked like a charm and if I were her I'd continue to pull her mom's heartstrings in challenges so that she can continue helping out her tribe in challenges. Anything to keep her from being on the chopping block again, cause doesn't seem like her alliance with Josh is keeping her name from being written down every tribal council thus far.
Jeremy and Wes are still my main guys, and with Rocker going off his...rocker in the previews I'm no longer worried that Wes will get thrown under the bus for knowing his MLB secret. I think Josh might emerge as the most competent member of the red team in terms of strategy, but he'll end up being a target if he continues trying to play all sides for every tribal. He's already been outed as 'the man' who everyone talks to for guidance on who to vote out. Dangerous position, lad.

For some reason, I don't think he'll be the quitter. I think it might actually be Jeremy or Natalie.

Like...am I supposed to hate John Rocker because he's John Rocker? Because I feel really bad for him right now. ALTHOUGH based on the preview, I assume this might change by the end of the episode.

Yeah, after seeing that, I think it WILL be John quitting. I don't fault the guy for playing the game, if this weren't Blood vs. Water, he'd have been in the clear. And now Jeremy begins laying the seeds with the women and Reed...

Oh come on Natalie, don't play the "I don't have my sister here" card. I know you're not better than that, I just don't want to hear it.

Yeah, John's probably gonna f*** this up by the end, but right now I kinda side with him. He did what he could, but since Val didn't have an idol, he couldn't do anything.
