Tonight was the beginning of Ambrose's rise.
Besides the fact that he wrestled in street clothes, which they always do for cool wrestlers, tonight he seemed to be on fire. Even with Barrett's skills and the damage on his arm, Ambrose showed up Barrett and Rollins at the same time. Doesn't hurt that Ambrose had new music too (although it needs to be changed). Secondly, Ambrose comes in and helps Cena out in the final match by taking out Rollins and RANDY ORTON (yeah that guy) all by himself. Sure Kane took him out, but that's Kane. This was without Roman's help. Roman didn't even pop up tonight at the end which was very surprising.
Last week he was great on the mic. Tonight he's become far crazier, letting himself really show what he's truly made of. I knew the WWE had faith in Ambrose but it appears that since last week, his stock's gone up.
Dean's just "That Dude" right now.

As I said in the Raw thread, he's got an awesome mix of the new style and the old school. As long as they don't screw him, dude is going to be a huge star.

He definitely felt like a top star. I got this beautiful Stone Cold vibe off of him and a Triple H vibe off Seth - which might be the intention, at this point. But none of it felt derivative, it just felt like this is a guy who can be a #1 badass babyface and we're seeing him settle into the gimmick that will get him there.

I'm unsure of Ambrose but I'm already very wary of Rollins and how he's being used. He's already been reduced to Orton's lackey for the most part and having ultra tough matches with a buried Dolph Ziggler. He wasn't even put in a MITB qualifier, which would seem to be the logical reason to turn heel in the first place.

Ambrose has been the highlight of Raw the past two weeks. I have a feeling Vince was very impressed with his promo, last week, and was booked like the second coming of Stone Cold, tonight. I'm so happy to see this, I was worried he'd be the first to get lost in the shuffle with the breakup. Dean's a star on the rise, I'm always happy when I'm right.

So, it's Dean "The Greaser" Ambrose and Roman "The Shield" Reigns now?

I'm loving him. He's like The Stone Cold Loose Cannon. I think Rollins will be remembered on a Ziggler level, Reigns on a Batista level, and Ambrose on an Austin level.

Ambrose as a babyface Loose Cannon is going to be f***ing awesome. Yep, you nailed it. He's straight up ECW/Attitude era Pillman out there, just not affiliated with the villains this time. I f***ing love it. And, for as much as I don't like guys wrestling in street clothes, I think he should keep the leather jacket and jeans look.

He really does have the psycho facial expressions and mannerisms perfected. Plus, the theme they gave him didn't sound too bad. He should've had his FCW one though (Called something weird like "Terminal Woman"?)

Just give him Terry Funk's harmonica theme from NWA and you have created my dream.

He looks on fire atm. The whole Rollins heel turn must have been a test for his character but he's rising up to it right now

I still don't think he's very good. He overacts in a gimmick that doesn't call for it, he's average in the ring and he looks like a goof.

I also need to add that his leather jacket was boss as hell.

Make it "The Dude" and give him the gimmick of just wanting his rug back, man.

The only thing I'm confused by is the Rob Zombie lite new theme song he has.
When that's sorted out then he's The HuMan and not just The Man!

It's so nice to see Ambrose standing out in spite of the booking they've given him.
For the first year of the Shield, Ambrose was generally booked as the unofficial 'leader' of the group, especially with him getting the US title run while Rollins 'N Reigns took the tag titles. Then they all of a sudden decided that Reigns was the next big thing and relegated Ambrose to being the "lunatic fringe" (whatever the f*** that's supposed to mean in this case as they all held the same views) of the group. He was then consistently booked as the unhinged retard of the group while they pushed Reigns as the 'leader'. Even going so far as to announce the group as "they will face off against ROMAN REIGNS and the Shield".
Ambrose has always been the clear superstar of the group, but because he didn't have a giant Samoan head and some big muscles, he didn't have Vince's approval. Nice to see that the crowd still believes in him.
