Well, I should finally be getting around to seeing this at some point this week. Friend and I are gonna go across to Liverpool to browse the Comic shops, then going to see it in 3D. Should be good!

I thought this film had the best use of 3D I've seen. Well worth it. Ah, good to hear! They've got one 3D showing at 13:00, so I was teetering between going for that specifically or turning up whenever and seeing it standard.

I definitely can say that I have no need to eat crow. I knew the film wouldn't flop and that the concept of less established Marvel characters, the image of a talking tree and gun carrying raccoon, along with it being the last film before Age of Ultron were huge factors.
We all can agree that it doesn't hurt that the film was very well made, entertaining, funny, great visuals, and interesting characters that made you care about the story.

I also knew that the film would do well and do even better if it was good. The first few promos alone had me sold on seeing it and I have never read a single GotG book.

Just got back from seeing the film finally and really enjoyed it. Have to say this must be one the most diverse casts I've ever seen. You have actors from Avatar, Parks & Rec, WWE, Dr Who, The Office, Spaced, Fast and Furious, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, The Hangover, Goonies heck even somebody from Hollyoaks was in it. And that's not even including Glenn Close, Benicio Del Toro & John C. Reilly.

Japanese cartoon of some sort. Apparently the Guardians are guest starring on their Avengers show.

Saw it earlier today, was blown away. I mean, I expected great things, but goddamn! I think Batista was my highlight by far, he played Drax perfectly.

Already mentioned this yesterday but I saw it and it was awesome. It's behind Winter Soldier and How To Train Your Dragon 2 as the best films I've seen this year, but not by a lot. Vin seemed to be channeling a lot of the Iron Giant into Groot.

Nah man, it was when he said "I am Groot" that totally made me fully believe in the character. I fully agree. He deserves an oscar for his performance , he was so versatile in this role . That " We Are Groot " line just blew me away
