He deserves an oscar for his performance , he was so versatile in this role . That " We Are Groot " line just blew me away I got genuinely choked up on that one. yeah my first response was a joke , but that scene got me a bit choked up

That and him wiping away a tear from Rocket's face got to me. Oh, and apparently Vin Diesel worked with the same voice person as he did in Iron Giant, which explains how similar they are.

Though an official announcement hasn’t been released from Marvel Studios just yet, Amazon has the DVD and Blu-ray for Guardians of the Galaxy up for pre-order and the site lists the film’s official release date as December 9.
Three different versions can be pre-ordered, including a DVD, a Blu-ray, and a multi-format

But no dancing Groot? Big mistake Marvel. Yeah, I agree. Guess they assume Funko has it covered. Still, I cannot wait. Wish it were a week earlier is all.

It's now the second straight home release of a MCU film to not have a One-Shot included since they started with them in 2011.

Does make you wonder if between Agents of SHIELD and the Netflix projects, Marvel thinks the One-Shots are redundant now. Or, if truth be told, they don't know what to do with a One-Shot.

Does make you wonder if between Agents of SHIELD and the Netflix projects, Marvel thinks the One-Shots are redundant now. Or, if truth be told, they don't know what to do with a One-Shot. I think it's certainly a case of them being pretty redundant. The first few were essentially just to flesh out Coulson a bit, since he'd developed a following. Agent Carter was pretty much a pitch for the TV series, and as cool as it was Hail to the King was fan service to appease those who were pissed off over the Mandarin situation. For those who've not seen it: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}The Ten Rings break Trevor out of prison in order to take him to be executed by the real Mandarin. Going forward we may get more One-Shots as the Netflix shows start coming out as a way of drawing casual viewers' attention to them. Possibly one centred on Bucky as he finds his way in the word pre-Cap 3.
